Say goodbye to onsite Halo sales 😫
Did y’all see the new updated TOS email? This one is especially bad: - Onsite Commission Scope: Updated calculation of onsite commission income to apply only to Direct Qualifying Purchases of the same ASIN variant or variant in the same product category as the linked Product detail page, rather than any product in the same category. I’ll need to update the course video about the difference in onsite and offsite commissions to include this new change. Here is the video if you want a simple explanation about how it currently works: https://www.skool.com/amzing-influencers-3334/classroom/7367a219?md=91e1b5f129bd4152bd0c05dbcfdf83cc Here is what this new TOS change means (I think) So the current example I shared in my video is: - Someone watches your video featuring a watering can - If they buy anything else in the garden category — a pair of gardening gloves, a pack of seeds, whatever - You earn commission on that sale whether or not they bought the watering can from your video. - If they bought your watering can and then went over and bought sunglasses in a different category, you would NOT earn any commission on that sale since it’s in a different category. The new rule seems to be: - Same scenario - But now they have to buy that same watering can or a direct variant of it (different color, size etc.) for you to get ANY onsite commission - Buying the gloves or seeds or anything in the same gardening category? That halo sale opportunity is not going to happen after April 14th. - the last line is vague, though. I wonder if “variant in the same product category as the linked Product detail page” means the “Similar Products” when you scroll down a product page? I’m not sure. 🤔 On the bright side: This does NOT affect offsite commissions, so that’s even more incentive for me to get this community rocking and rolling to earn more offsite traffic! I’ll post a video tomorrow!!
