If you’re still cleaning and trying to do this the right way, read this.
I’m noticing something as I spend time here. A lot of cleaning spaces are focused on: – scaling fast – going remote – hiring teams – getting “out of the field” as quickly as possible That’s not what I’m building. I’ve been a cleaner for 15+ years. Solo. Referral-only. Still in the work. I’m building a space for people who: – are actually cleaning – want clients who respect them – don’t want to race to the bottom on price – want sustainability, not burnout This won’t be for everyone. But if you’re tired of cheap-price competition, conflicting advice, and systems built by people who don’t clean anymore, you’re probably in the right place.

Most cleaners aren’t underpaid. They’re under-structured.
This might ruffle feathers, but I’m saying it anyway. I see cleaners constantly saying: “Clients won’t pay more.” “The market is saturated.” “People don’t respect cleaning.” I’ve been in this industry 15+ years. Solo. Referral-only. Six figures. The problem usually isn’t the client. It’s: - No clear pricing logic - No boundaries - Saying yes to everything - Confusing busy with profitable I didn’t make more money by cleaning faster. I made more money by deciding what I will and will not do. Curious… 👉 What do you think is the hardest part of charging what you’re worth right now?

@Andrea Dudash I hear this a lot, and I agree with part of it. There will always be $20/hour cleaners. They’re not your competition. People who are shopping for the cheapest option are not comparing services. They’re comparing numbers. I stopped trying to compete with low pricing a long time ago. Instead, I focused on: - Clear expectations - Consistent results - Reliability - Clients who value trust over bargains Those clients don’t ask me to match prices, because they already understand they’re paying for peace of mind, not just a clean house. Cheap cleaners will always have work. So will professionals. They’re just serving two very different clients. I love that you are secure and confident with your pricing. Your clients are paying for trust, reliability, and consistency.
Hello Friends!
This group is for solo cleaners who want to make real money without burning their bodies out, hiring teams, or chasing every new “system” someone on the internet is selling. I’ve built a long-term, referral-based cleaning business by doing the work, setting boundaries, and pricing in a way that actually makes sense for one human body. No employees. No chaos. No hustle theater. This group IS for you if: You’re a solo cleaner (or want to stay solo) You care about sustainability, not just revenue You want honest answers about pricing, clients, and boundaries You’re tired of guru fluff and unrealistic promises This group is NOT for you if: You want to build teams fast You’re looking for guarantees or shortcuts You don’t want to take responsibility for your business decisions What you’ll get here: Real-world pricing logic Referral-based client strategies Boundary setting without guilt Mindset shifts that protect your peace What you won’t get: Hype Sales funnels “Just scale harder” advice If you’re here, introduce yourself in the comments: Where you clean, how long you’ve been in business, and what you’re struggling with most right now. We’re keeping this honest, practical, and respectful. That’s the standard. Happy Cleaning 🧼🪣🧼🪣

@Georgina Bice Georgina, first of all welcome. And almost 30 is not the crisis the internet promised, I swear. Everything you wrote tells me you’re doing this for the right reasons. You care about quality, you care about balance, and you built your business to fit your life, not swallow it. That already puts you ahead of a lot of people. Pricing is hard when you: - clean like it’s your own home - go above and beyond naturally - actually care The challenge isn’t your standards. It’s making sure your pricing reflects the time, energy, and skill you’re putting in, so the right clients find you and the wrong ones don’t stick around. Word of mouth clients who value quality are gold. We’ll talk a lot here about how to price in a way that attracts those people and protects your work/life balance long term. You’re in the right place. Thanks for sharing your story, I’m really glad you’re here.

@Moon Prurtt thank you. I'm glad you are here.
The Clients I Stopped Taking (and Why)
One of the biggest shifts in my business wasn’t raising my prices. It was deciding who I no longer cleaned for. I stopped taking clients who: - wanted “as cheap as possible” but expected perfection - constantly added “just one more thing” - didn’t respect my time, schedule, or boundaries - treated cleaning like a favor instead of a professional service None of these people were bad. They just weren’t my clients. When I said yes to everyone, I was exhausted, resentful, and questioning why I even started my business. When I got selective, everything changed. My schedule improved, my income stabilized, and my stress dropped. Good clients don’t want quantity. They want consistency, quality, and trust. Saying no isn’t being difficult. It’s being sustainable. Honest question: What’s one type of client you’ve learned doesn’t work well for you?

@Claudia Mitchell I love this. How long have you been cleaning houses? What struggles do you see more commonly that you would like to change or work on?
Why I built this space (and who it’s actually for)
I started this group because I kept seeing cleaners burn out chasing “big teams” and complicated systems. I’ve been doing this a long time, and here’s what I know for sure: You do not need a huge crew, fancy software, or a viral TikTok to make real money cleaning. This space is for cleaners who want: • Simple systems • Solid income • Control of their schedule • A business that doesn’t run their entire life I’ll be sharing what actually worked for me. The good, the bad, and the stuff I wish someone had told me sooner. No gatekeeping. No fluff. Just real talk. If you’re here, you’re in the right place.🧼🪣🧼🪣
