Hey everyone, I'm the owner of a foreign-owned single member LLC in WY. Do I need to apply for a resale certificate when selling through Amazon? Even if I don't have a physical shop or warehouse in WY? If yes, what is the process to apply for the certificate and will it be valid in every state within the US? Or is the certificate only necessary if I purchase products in the US and re-sell in the US? I appreciate your help @James Baker .

Hey guys~ similar issue with BOI address problem again, should I keep using the address of the LLC from my agent? Here's the email from Wyoming Department of Revenue: Wyoming Statutes require each application to contain the name and residence of the licensee; and the place and character of the business of the licensee. For these reasons we are not able to issue a license where the location address provided is a registered agent’s address or virtual office even if you have a lease agreement with them. Please provide us with your actual physical location address where the business is operated from and where your customers can return an item and where the permanent business records are maintained.

I got the attached notice on my Mercury Dashboard asking me for a US legal address. I have no US presence and Mercury serves business owners with no US presence but who do have US operations. What do they mean with "US legal address"? How is this different from a "US physical address"? Is it the same? This is starting to get confusing...

Hi everyone, Mercury Bank will no longer accept my registered agent address for my LLC although I have a commercial lease agreement. After watching James' latest YouTube video on hack's for non-residents to open a bank account, I wonder where the difference is between a virtual address from my registered agent and a virtual address from Anytimemailbox? I checked and both addresses are Not Commercial Mail Receiving Agency. My question is: is it worth doing the paper work and move my LLC to a new (virtual) address?

Hello everyone, Although I haven't solved the Mercury bank and physical address issue yet, I now have a few questions about it. 1. If my foreign-owned single member LLC leases a real office suite or a coworking space, it will then become fully taxable and required to file accounting/tax returns. Just as if it had employees or a physical shop. Is this correct? 2. This isn't the case with a virtual street address... Right? 3. If I tell Mercury bank that my physical address where I operate my business is my residential address (in my case the EU) will this have any consequences for my LLC or me personally? (Like taxes, reporting, or ....?) A professional response would be greatly appreciated @James Baker ;) and of course everyone else's too.
