Organic or Ceramic Clutch
Been reading about the street manners of both organic and ceramic clutches. In the case of high RPM/HP, like merging onto the interstate or having fun off the line every so often, would a organic clutch hold up for long, or just go with the less forgiving ceramic?

@Seth Williamson I'm still looking at phoenix clutches, but would give the Texas manufacturer the nod. Since I'm in Texas. The only caveat is if I go with the 1 3/8 upgraded input shaft, it doesn't look like Valair has an option for that, unless I'm missing something. What would you suggest @Robert Winkworth for input shaft, stock or upgrade?

@Seth Williamson good to know there's another crazy on here! Or maybe it's just me! 🤠 In the words of the late great Waylon: I've always been crazy, it keeps me from goin' insane.

Does anyone know of a good place to get a p-pump rebuilt and about how much it will cost

@Robert Winkworth Thank you for the reference, that's next on the list, after getting the transmission rebuilt!
Working on 12v heads today.
Well seems I am swapped with 12v for the next couple weeks. Today’s job. Clean up the shop a bit and finish these to heads off. What’s everyone doing today

NV4500 Clutch Fail
Welp, the farm fresh truck, that's my project truck, just took a dump. The clutch smoked worse than the exhaust on acceleration! Looks like a rebuild/upgrade just came sooner than expected! Any suggestions on parts to handle up to 700hp to the wheels would be welcomed. I'm sure the shop will know, be just in case... The rig: 1997 3500 Dually Cummins 12 Valve. All stock, but I'm building an engine for her. Suspension will also be upgraded, mostly from Synergy components. So this is a greenfield build!

Y'all should've told me about the title typo, it's alright though, I don't do this stuff everyday and just started learning. But dang 5400 instead of 4500?! Fail.

I'll also retract the statement about using Synergy products on my suspension, since it's a 2WD. Fail #2. But they are great for 4x4's!
12v teardown
Well going I have an engine from @Claude Lafond To pull down and inspect for him. This engine was a complete experience build he had down and had some issues so we are going through it. Should I do a complete tear down video for you tube ?

Up to you, but I'm sure myself and others would benefit greatly from that vid!

@Robert Winkworth There's a few teardown vids on u toobs, but a new 1 would probably gain some views. Since it's all about what's now.
