How to improve? (UTR/tournaments)
Hello! I was wondering if any more experienced tennis players could give me (or others) any advice. Right now I have competed in just a few L7 tournaments. I was mostly wondering about any strategies, tips, or new information on how I could start performing better at the tournaments and increasing my UTR. Thanks!

Developing strong legs, glutes, core, and cardio will put you in the express lane to UTR 8
Recommended strings?
Hey I was wondering if anyone could recommend me strings! I use the yonex percept 100. I’ve tried otoro/velocity and hyper G. Don’t know too much about specific strings. Any tips or recommendations appreciated!

Any advise on how to generate power behind you serve/strokes? Thank you!

If you want to reach a high level of tennis and power generation in the shortest amount of time, you want to hit glutes and core in the gym everyday. You get so much bloodflow in those parts that you can literally do butts and guts day 7x a week and not injure yourself. Source: My college team athletic development coach.

Ignoring hitting with power until 100% of your shots are dead center in your racket. It’s more fun to see how hard you can hit the ball, but learning how to make perfect contact will fast track you to being a competitive 4.5.
