Generating power
Any advise on how to generate power behind you serve/strokes? Thank you!

@Phuc Lu There are different of ways you can generate power (and it also depends what shot specifically you are referring to: serves, forehands, backhands, etc.) I think that having good form and footwork can help a lot. If you are off balance and don’t have good form, it will be much harder to generate power! I also learned that you should try to have a sort of snap like a whip when you hit the ball. Your racket should be at its peak acceleration upon contact.
Recommended strings?
Hey I was wondering if anyone could recommend me strings! I use the yonex percept 100. I’ve tried otoro/velocity and hyper G. Don’t know too much about specific strings. Any tips or recommendations appreciated!

@Javen Zhan Ok great! Thank you so much for the recommendation! Do you know roughly what kind of strings those are and any tension recommendations?

1. I am located in SF 2. I am a player! Right now I am in highschool 3. I use the yonex percept. Right now I am using the solinco hyper g @ 48 (I think) tension. I definitely want to try some new strings on this racket though. 4. I want to learn most about how to become a better tennis player!
How to improve? (UTR/tournaments)
Hello! I was wondering if any more experienced tennis players could give me (or others) any advice. Right now I have competed in just a few L7 tournaments. I was mostly wondering about any strategies, tips, or new information on how I could start performing better at the tournaments and increasing my UTR. Thanks!
