“The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭ Principle: Shortcuts, cheating, lying, any act in opposition to purity always comes up empty handed. Purity, diligence, honesty, perseverance. While it may take longer, God blesses the works of hands done in alignment. Can we “earn” the favor of the Lord?

Hebrew 6: 4-6 “It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age. and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.” ‭‭—————— Principle: Be on Watch with your walk, that you aren’t given over to sin, for you once it happens, after tasting freedom and salvation, you can sin unto death. God will not be mocked and we are adopted into his family and the world watches our moves.

I’ve been spending a lot of time and reflection in Deuteronomy lately as we’ve been reading it Collectively as a church. And while any of my posts are always my interpretation of scripture. It’s clear in the additional and lengthy instructions from the Lord to the Israelites his call to purity in the land. The lines are thorough and exhaustive, leaving nothing to question. The theme and phrase I find over and over again is the Lord saying “You must purge the evil from among you” It’s been my prayer lately to having a purging of my heart, any hidden sin and pride. To be purged aggressively, co labored with the spirit, in the same way the Israelites were called to deal with aggressively. It’s interesting to see the personality of God displayed throughout this book. God Bless you all!

I started on Skool in Dec of 2025 but started here just in Jan. this year. I have been following and responding to other peoples posts but had not really posted anything on my own. I am a 62 yr old grandmother. I grew up knowing about God but as a kid I was afraid of Him, then angry because I was born with a spinal defect. It wasn't until adulthood that I finally began to learn the truth about God and Jesus. My husband and I joined a church to take our kids and raise them in the church. Then I started learning the truth about His love for me. I still have a lot to learn because I have fallen out of touch and trying to return and get back the relationship I thought I lost forever.

God may let you set your pace: Don’t! God may appear to be late: He’s not! God may seem to not know what’s happening: He does! God may come across as uncaring: He isn’t!
