🕊️ Praying for Every Soul
We all face seasons of loss. Sometimes it’s someone close to us. Other times, it’s someone distant, a leader, or a voice whose influence reached far and wide. In those moments of mourning, we remember: all life is created in the image of God. Every person uses their free will - to do good, to do harm, and everything in between. Free will is what makes love for God real—but it’s also what allows for brokenness, sin, and even Hell itself. God does not force us to love Him, follow Him, or give Him praise. That choice is ours. ______________________________________ Today, someone special will be missed by the masses. A person who left a mark on society, who accomplished the work God placed in their hands while here on earth. Their time here has ended—but their impact remains. ______________________________________ But we know this: we don’t start here, and we don’t stop here. Eternity stretches far beyond our days on this earth. 💬 Our Call Today and Every Day: 🙏 Pray for every soul. - Pray that those who were lost may have found Christ even at their last breath. - Pray that those who were saved lived their calling fully, blessing everyone around them. - Pray that we would not waste our own time here, but walk in the purpose God designed for us. “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise… He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9 Let’s take a moment together today to honor, to pray, and to reflect. Life is fleeting, but God’s plan is eternal. May our lives leave the kind of mark that points others to Him. 👇 Share your prayer, reflection, or tribute below.

Dear Lord, please watch over Charlie's family as they go through this hard time. And please help them to remember that he is watching over them, waiting to be reunited with them soon in a place of beauty beyond comprehension 🖤
📖 Scripture & Reflection – Today’s Heart Check
New day. New Week. Back to the Grind. Whether heading off to work, working from home, retired and have tasks or projects to complete, let's start the week off on the right foot. God’s Word is alive — it’s not just ink on paper; it’s the very breath of God speaking directly into our lives (Hebrews 4:12). Yet sometimes, we speed through a verse, nod our head, and move on with our day without really letting it sink in. Today, let’s pause. Let’s not just read Scripture — let’s meditate on it, chew on it, and allow it to take root. Because one verse — just one — can be the breakthrough that changes your thinking, strengthens your faith, and reminds you of who God is. ✨ Here’s your challenge: 1. Pick a verse you came across today (or lately). 2. Reflect on it. What word or phrase stood out to you? Why do you think God highlighted that in your heart? 3. Share it here. Don’t overthink it — your reflection might be the exact encouragement someone else needs today. 💬 Discussion prompts to help you dive deeper: - Did this verse bring comfort, conviction, or clarity? - How might you live differently today if you actually applied this verse to your life? - Have you ever seen this verse come alive in your own story before? - Remember: Scripture isn’t just meant to be stored in our minds — it’s meant to be planted in our hearts and lived out in our actions. 🌱 Drop your verse and reflection below. Let’s see how God is speaking uniquely to each of us today!

I just helped my friend with this last night. He was embarrassed about a bad decision he made recently and what his fellow churchgoers might think if they found out. I reminded him of one of my most favorite passages from the New Testament which can be located in John 8. When the Pharisees tried to trap Jesus by bringing an adulterous woman to him and asking if she should be stoned, he said to them, “...The one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her.” -John 8:7 (HCSB). With that said, I told him to refer them to that passage if they try to pass judgement on him and reminded him that church is for the sinners of the world, not the righteous.

@Diane Mattila that was exactly my point to him. I told him that you what's important is that you know you messed up and that I guarantee you they have made dumb mistakes in their lives as well, especially they elders of the church that may think they are more evolved than the younger generation.
🚫 “That’s Not Christian-Like” – Let’s Talk About It
Have you ever heard someone say, “That’s not Christian-like,” or "I thought you were a Christian" and felt a little sting in your heart? Sometimes, that phrase is used as encouragement — a gentle nudge to remember who we are in Christ. But too often, it’s thrown around like a weapon to judge, shame, or control, instead of to build up. The truth is, every believer is a work in progress. We all have moments when we stumble, speak too quickly, or react before we think. God’s grace covers those moments — and His Spirit works in us to grow and transform us over time. Using “That’s not Christian-like” to condemn someone doesn’t reflect the heart of Christ. 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 — 𝐇𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 💬 Let’s flip the script. Instead of calling someone out with judgment, let’s call them up with encouragement. Let’s be the voice that says: - “I see you’re struggling, I’ve been there.” - “You’re still God’s beloved, even in this moment.” - “Let’s walk through this together.” Those examples above should not be used in a condescending, judging or hateful manner. If you are truly building someone up, they will know by the words we use and how we use them. Because our words can heal or they can harm. Let’s choose healing. 💛 👉 Question for you: Have you ever experienced this phrase in a hurtful way? Or have you used it in love? Let’s talk about how we can turn it from a weapon into a tool for grace.

@Tara Kramer that is definitely a great thought process to live by. I've always told people that if someone is defensive about something then they must be either lying to us or themselves about something. I try to recognize it in myself as well and ask people often on how I can improve myself.

My name is Dalton Wagoner, and I hope that this program will successfully be one of many resources that I am using to draw myself nearer to God. One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 18:24: "A man with many friends may be harmed, but there is a friend who stays closer than a brother." (HCSB)
