First. I'm back. I missed you! ๐Ÿคฉ Next. Have you been able to visit the classroom, yet? In all your free time? When you have lots of energy and just need a little brain food to munch on? Ha ha, I know how busy life is... right now my biggest responsibility is caregiving my mom. I've posted about it before, if you're curious, read here. My next biggest responsibility is probably keeping my therapy business alive while I pivot to doing more online education. I'm promoting a cohort, and taking on new clients for advanced stress management, I'm taking a scaling program (which is winding down and giving me more space), I'm building this community and another one on skool. There's a lot, so my point is - I understand that life is so busy it's tricky to prioritize practice. However... "Real change comes through the application of HIGH Willpower, developed through the discipline of daily practice," as the developer of the HIKE system (taught in our classroom) says loud and often. What are you doing in a disciplined way to apply yourself to your conscious awareness, growth, and evolution? If you would like some great ideas...I know a neat-o place to look. Visit the classroom.

I was working at a secured federal building today and going through security multiple times was not exactly fun.

@Alistair Hawkes that's good teamwork.
Did you get some ๐Ÿ’– this weekend?
When I was 12 years old, I remember walking to school feeling heavy โ€” what I would now call low-grade depression. Head down. Eyes on the pavement. Shoulders collapsed. Then I had a strange thought: What if I just lifted my head? The shift was immediate. My environment didnโ€™t change, my life didnโ€™t change in that instant. But my nervous system did. And that changed everything. Over the years, Iโ€™ve lost and rebuilt my confidence many times. Every setback became an opportunity to strengthen regulation, resilience, and awareness. This is what I now teach. Confidence isnโ€™t personality, it's physiology, and it's trainable. You donโ€™t need to wait to โ€œfeel better.โ€ You learn how to shift your state on purpose. Thatโ€™s Advanced Nervous System Regulation. And itโ€™s why I believe self-love is a skill โ€” not a slogan. Whatโ€™s one small physical shift that changes your mood almost instantly?

It was a mix of up and down for me today. And continuously remembering to self regulate. A lot of any anxiety that comes up for me is not knowing how the ongoing global conflict and violence is going to play out. And continuously remembering to self-regulate and represent as an alternative. Great post Knexell.
