Week 2 temptations
My first week went really well but this week going to be a challenge. It’s nurse’s week so every breakfast and lunch is catered. Trying my best to stick to the goals!

Hello?
I was successfully shedding weight with a basic gym program and controlling my eating before I discovered the "MOB". I found the simplicity of Matts recipes and posts interesting and wanted to ramp it up a bit. After my orientation Zoom and having my macros set up in MFP I found myself shoving food in my mouth at the end of the day to reach my 300g of Carbs. Clearly overeating and hitting my 123g of Protein too easily everyday. Everything I've watched in the Classroom contradicts these numbers. I should be protien heavy. Today I received my "meal plan" and the macros are entirely different than what was set up in MFP confirming I have been overeating for a week. I have tried messaging on IG and responding to our text chain only to get no response. How do we get in touch with people that can answer questions? It seems like everything has become a one way conversation of automated messages since I signed up last Monday.

Pre-logging and meal preparation
@Dakota Miller I just watched the video about pre-logging meals and I see that you are crushing it. It seems pretty difficult to prepare a meal plan ahead of time and also to have all the ingredients. Do you do your shopping for the next week and cook meals in advance? Do you keep your meals fairly similar? What would you suggest?

So I have my meal plan . And I eat the exact same things every single day . Yes it gets boring. But thats when you start to learn and get creative to switch it up. But I tell myself this isn't forever . Like if I have to eat the same 4 meals a day for the next 4-5 months ill do that because I know it works and I lost 50lbs by doing that exactly . Something about not having to guess what to eat everyday and just knowing what to eat every day is absolutely pure bliss. One less stress for the day. And yes I shop on Saturdays for the whole week . So I buy all my chicken, meat, oats, veggies , egg whites all at once for the week and I cook up 7 chicken breasts, 7 steaks or ground beef , egg whites i make fresh every morning , and veggies i cook twice a week so they dont get all mushy and gross haha. I definitely suggest eating the same foods daily to start and slowly teach yourself how to switch em up when your ready at your own pace .
