Weariness will try to speak louder than truth don't let it
Weariness has a voice. It whispers things like âYouâre tired because youâre failing,â or âIf this were God, it wouldnât feel this hard.â But weariness is not a reliable narrator. It is often a tactic, not a verdict. Scripture is clear that one of the enemyâs strategies is not always outright destruction, but slow exhaustion. âHe will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy peopleâ (Daniel 7:25, NIV). The word oppress carries the idea of wearing downâpressing, draining, exhausting. Not because the saints are weak, but because persistence can be tested through fatigue. Thatâs why truth must speak louder than how you feel. God never interprets your season by your energy level. He looks at your faithfulness, your obedience, and your dependence on Him. âTherefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by dayâ (2 Corinthians 4:16, NIV). Weariness may affect your body and emotions, but it does not get to define your spiritual condition. When youâre tired, you donât need condemnationâyou need clarity. You donât need to push harderâyou need to return to truth. And the truth is this: God does not abandon His people in seasons of fatigue. âHe gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weakâ (Isaiah 40:29, NIV). So when weariness starts preaching lies, interrupt it. Speak truth out loud. Rest where God tells you to rest. Stand where He tells you to stand. And rememberâbeing worn down is not the same as being defeated. Truth still holds the final word.
