Beloved, You Have Been Made Alive Ephesians 2:4-5-But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace are ye saved). Our sins caused spiritual death in us, that is, until Jesus Christ came into our lives and brought us life. To “quicken” means to bring life to, to make alive, and that is what He did for us. Because of God’s great love for us, we are brought to life with Jesus. We have a whole new life because of Him! Question: What parts of your life has God’s love restored?

Beloved, You Are Lavished with Mercy Psalm 103:11-For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. We have already learned that God’s mercy is His kindness and compassion for those He loves. Many people mistakenly believe that to fear God means to be afraid of Him, but this is simply not true. To fear God means to give Him the honor, glory, and reverence He rightfully deserves. God honors you with His mercy. Question: How is being loved by God different from being loved by other people?

Beloved, You Are Secure Romans 8:38-39- For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Paul is very clear. There is absolutely nothing in this world or out of it, nothing seen or unseen, that can ever take us away from Jesus. Once we belong to Him, we are His forever. Question: How do you feel knowing you are secure in Christ’s love?

Beloved, God’s Love Dwells in You 1 John 4:16-And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. How does it make you feel knowing that God has made His home inside you? He’s done this through the power of His Spirit. His Spirit enables us to love as He loves. God lives in us, and we live in Him. This is always the most wonderful and satisfying relationship we will have in this life and beyond! Question: Since receiving Christ, how have you loved God and others better?

Beloved, God’s Peace Will Never Leave You Isaiah 54:10-For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. We can trust God when He says He will never take His peace or mercy away from us. He gives us peace that the world can never give us, and it is ours because He loves us. No matter what storms you are facing, God loves you and will never leave you to go through it alone. Question: What storms are you facing, and will you receive God’s peace through them?
