We’re ALL Anointed! (Long Post Alert 🚨😅)
Hey everyone 🤍 I’m praying you’re staying safe and warm in whatever weather conditions you’re experiencing today ❄️☔️☀️. I just wanted to share my notes and a few thoughts from the message this morning at Embassy City, and also check in with you all. We were virtual today due to the icy roads, but the anointing was still very much present ✨ The message, We’re All Anointed, centered on calling, order, and assignment. Using Luke 5 and the call of Levi, alongside Luke 2:52, the sermon highlighted a ministry shift—where we once had to search for God, He is now meeting us as we grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with Him and with people 🌱. It was a reminder that the anointing isn’t reserved for a platform; it rests on every believer willing to follow Jesus in everyday life. There was strong emphasis on spiritual covering and accountability, including the reminder that pastors also need to be submitted under leadership, and that the fivefold ministry remains fully active and necessary as the Church transitions into a more apostolic expression rooted in alignment, not hierarchy. What really stood out to me (and why I felt this was important to share here in Kingdom Lab) was the challenge around spiritual sensitivity. Familiarity can desensitize those who are always in church, to the point where we stop responding to the move of God. That’s why Jesus stepped away from the religious crowd and went straight to Matthew’s table 🍽️—meeting those who were hungry, open, and aware of their need. Tradition and visibility alone won’t produce disciples. Collars, hooping, and hollering aren’t working anymore. Just because something is viral doesn’t make it vital—virality is not God’s endorsement 📉. This message felt especially necessary for those of us who are creating, innovating, and stewarding gifts in different spaces. Discipleship and mentorship become deficient when we avoid the unseen work that builds trust and stewardship, assuming that knowing truth alone will change people. God isn’t looking for performance or comparison—He’s looking for alignment, obedience, consistency, authenticity, and surrender ❤️.
