Hi folks, After a lot of reflection, I have made the difficult decision to close the Inspiring Speakers Bureau Skool community, and the entire business itself actually. This has been an incredible journey, and I can honestly say that the connections created here have been one of the greatest highlights of my 19 years working with Inspiring Speakers Bureau. The relationships, conversations, and discussions we have shared have been truly authentic and powerful. The level of insight, support, encouragement, and collaboration within this community has been unlike anything I have experienced. It has been an honour to be part of these conversations and to witness so many talented speakers working toward their goals and growing their businesses. Unfortunately, the business is no longer profitable, and I need to shift my focus toward other areas of my business life and other business pursuits to ensure I can continue building a sustainable and successful future. Closing this chapter is bittersweet, but I feel it is the right decision and the right time. It was also meaningful to be able to close this business chapter during the final year of my father's life. He enjoyed seeing the incredible discussions, connections, and value being created within this community, and it brought him a lot of pride and happiness. Now that he has passed, it feels like the appropriate time to bring this journey to a close. I want to sincerely thank every single person who contributed, participated, shared their knowledge, asked questions, and helped make this community what it became. Your involvement and your willingness to support one another made this a very special place. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have connected with so many amazing people over our time together here. I wish each and every one of you continued growth, success, and fulfillment in your speaking businesses and your future endeavors. Hello Everyone; As many of you will know, I am relaunching my speaking business with a pivot away from a message of empowerment only for women in the beauty, fashion and entertainment industries to a more inclusive message of women's advocacy and empowerment personally and professionally. This process and the messaging that I thought would take a few days has taken months to flesh out, and I've done that with the help of many of you who have chimed in to give your feedback. I'm happy to say that coming to Martha's Vineyard READY with 10 of these has already turned into an opportunity when I met and connected with a perfect stranger who is in the pharmaceutical industry and said to me--unsolicited--we look for speakers all the time and I would love to have you come and speak to our people. I reached into my bag and pulled the only one I had with me at the time and gave it to her. I'm meeting up with her and her family again tomorrow here on the cape. Stay Ready. With the rebrand and an epic new bio, the one pager was the logical next upgrade. I fed my old one-pager into Claude, along with my speakers rate info and asked for ultimate design layout (ie should I move things around). I am REALLY happy with the suggestions and the reasoning behind them. Now that info is off to my graphic designer so she can work her magic. My talent + Claude AI + Graphic Designer talent = Win. No replacing anyone. Just adding a new tool to make communication easier. YAY! (And just fyi, the geometric lines match my website design.)
