Last week I connected my backend to a GPT using Actions. Was I satisfied? yeah, for a day maybe 48 hours at a push... ChatGPT could talk to my data, products, blogs but me and ChatGPT are not friends, there had to be something bigger. There had to be a better way than screenshots, and copy/paste into Claude, Also, they definitely had to be a cheaper way than having the Claude API built in (which I have, 50p a post roughly, nothing crazy but it adds up.). If Sabrina's solution was to create an MCP then it was good enough for me. watched some videos, read some documentation and started planning & scheming. Today, I have an official working MCP, I need to test and refine it over the weekend, but this is too exciting! And thennn, Claude shut down Fable 5 😭 it lasted days! This taught me there is always a rewind button 🤭

Why oh why did they give 500 free credits but my very first prompt used 6000 credits 👀 So are we saying, coding agents just hate to see me coming now? The app is only half done too 😂 I couldn't see a plan button, and they use Opus 4.8 (explains the credit drain), but jeeeesh take your time with this one, maybe just use it for landing pages and smaller apps until it is out of Beta lol. Welp, looks like I should get back to my actual todo list for the day, which include scripting a demo for Pixi's Burrow and thinking up a way to connect it to my main website backend. Anthropic is dishing out goodies again! Double usage for a whole month! This only applies to co-work though and doesn't change you weekly usage limit. I think they did it to soften the blow that Claude Design usage is now bundled with everything else and will suck session limits dry, real quick lol. What tasks do you have line up for Cowork this month? I will definitely be using it to turn my Skool daily digest email notifications off and getting my work emails down and organised.

Stupid o'clock this morning I got the idea that since my site has a built in API that I should be able to connect it to a custom GPT using actions... lo and behold 15 hours later we have success 🚀💃💅 I tried to record it, but there are so many errors and back and forth, I am not sure if it is saveable, but I will try!
