Yesterday I officially divorced Shopify. It was fun while it lasted 🤭 It started with one job: lock down a set of Prompt Generators. I learnt Liquid in a few weeks and cracked something even ChatGPT couldn't. Locked it down so hard that Pixi's Burrow was born out of it. I could have walked away right then. But then I noticed something. My Notion templates were getting recommended by ChatGPT and CoPilot, through Shopify. 🤔 And I was attached to my catalogue showing up on Pinterest. So I went and learnt what actually drives that. AEO, and what feeds it. A couple of months ago I learnt XML to build my own RSS feed. Turns out Pinterest accepts it too. That left one thing Shopify still did for me: storage and image delivery. Cloudinary and Cloudflare sorted that. So with a plan for every single box Shopify ticked, I got to work. Decided on the Tuesday. Pressed cancel on the Friday morning. Will I miss it? Nope, lol. My site is now a full standalone ecommerce app. The only subscriptions tied to it are the domain name and a Claude subscription. Definitely my kind of stack. What powers your website right now? Now this is a test post, but in case you see this I am seriously considering life direction, like am I supposed to be building end user digital products or building full systems for businesses who want to own their brain, data and code while being cosy and neurodivergent friendly?

Everyone but Tracey was asleep, 😂 at least she got to witness the first schedule test. Next on the list: I need to work out how to share this so others can test it, or do I just keep it to myself 🤷🏽‍♀️ Now that I have made my first chrome extension, my brain has a whole list of things to make 🤦🏾‍♀️

Not only can Codex now create images, it created 20 images in one go, named them and filed them away 😍 oooh I love AI. The AI detector on Substack not so much, but that is a story for another day 🤭
