Moon day meditation
A challenge: THATS not about doing.... It's about just being. Let’s see if on each Monday for the next three weeks you dedicate a minimum of 20 minutes in the morning to non-linear meditation on the faculties of the moon, and track how your day and week go. Read below and see why this may help us all. Did you ever wonder why so many people have such a difficult time being motivated on Mondays? It gets a bad rap... The interesting part about it is that it has been completely blown out by the solar nature of doing. "GET UP," it shouts... "Rise and shine," it snidely smiles at us. While there's nothing wrong with the nature of doing—it resides within all of us—the day of the Moon is absolutely about reflection, restoration, and receptivity. So how, on a day natively allocated for those types of energies, do you enter into the role of doing? One way is to begin your day with a meditation on the exact faculties this day represents. In doing that, you allow yourself to flow into whatever tasks come your way, but you receive them... You can reflect on the needs of them. And that allows the doing to unfold a little more naturally. So. I am going to begin today and will post my results here and look for you all to do the same

I still haven’t looked for the two books you recommended to me. I actually forgot! I need to make more time to read.
The Middle Child
Midweek is one of those funny spots... Like the middle child it gets forgotten ll to often and overlooked as the before and after... Yep you're there... I see you.. Moving on now... Here's the most interesting part - to me at least - if we instead look at Wednesday as the day it was in antiquity we see the wisdom of presence. We take the time between where all life converges and just being present in it. How will you be present today?

We’re getting back to some sort of rhythm here. My husband has Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays off from work. So we spent the first two doing demo in our theater and recording videos for our new social media project. We will spend today being present. Editing videos, fixing a screen door, laundry, spending time with the kids. The kind of stuff that makes you feel at home. It’s becoming our midweek pause, and time to ground before getting back at it.
What does morning time bring?
Brightness... Color Life. And sometimes... Wisdom On Wednesday, we bring wisdom that follows the energy associated with this day by the Chaldean Order... The day of Mercury. ( Fun little look up if that peeks your interest ) What bits of wisdom can you bring to the table today? Leave a tidbit. Let it land just as it's felt.

This is not really a wright of passage. It seems like a lot of young men feel that way about it. It was traditionally only men who danced. Same with sweat lodge. I’m not sure how or why women started doing it. But in this way of prayer it is recognized that everything on earth must break or go through pain to grow. It is the way of the earth when she opens and the grass grows. Or for women who go through child birth. Men don’t have to experience this. So in a way it’s about bringing men into balance with women. Honoring the duality. It has a lot to do with balance. And when we offer flesh to the tree, it sends our prayers out into creation so that they can be heard. Every Sundance carries a prayer. The one we support is a prayer for the children. Another one that we attend is a warriors dance, so a prayer for veterans and warriors.

@Adam M. Heath you’re very welcome 😊
Weekend books...
That may take a little longer than a weekend! 🤗🤣 Some of you know I am a self-avowed nerd when it comes to esotericism and occult wisdom. I have a few favorite authors from history, and one of them is Dion Fortune. She wrote a number of very influential books, not least of which is her Mystical Qabalah. This one, however, is a curious read and one I dare say would do many people good. It looks at love and marriage on a cosmic scale. Like most things, when we pull back, it allows us to see the grandeur and beauty of the interplay we have this life to enjoy. One of the more polarized points today is that of polarity itself... In today's lexicon, I dare say we need a deeper understanding and a revival of the beauty in the differences between the masculine and feminine. It’s about the celebration of both from that which is within us all... and therefore, a better approach to that which is without. A quick heads-up as you dive in: this was published in 1924. Because of the era in which it was written, you will definitely hit some cultural frictions in her practical conclusions. But that is okay—treat it as part history, part cosmology. If you can look past the 1920s social taboos, the underlying mechanics she exposes are profoundly beautiful. At any rate, here is the link: https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=3Ajcog0n_bQC
