START HERE: Your First 7 Days In The Vestibular Reset Community
Welcome, I’m Dr. Aliah Pulaski, PT, DPT 👋💙 If you’re here, you’re probably dizzy, off‑balance, or scared to move. First: you’re not crazy, and you’re not alone. This post will walk you through exactly what to do in your first week so you can start feeling more stable and less scared. STEP 1 – Watch The “Vestibular Rehab” Video Go to the Classroom → “Vestibular Rehab Introduction” and watch the short video. In it, I’ll cover: - How vestibular rehab works - Diagnosis - Questionnaire Don’t skip this. It will make everything else feel less overwhelming. STEP 2 – Introduce Yourself Below (Takes 3–5 Minutes) Comment under this post with: 1. Your name and where your from (state is fine)! 2. Your main diagnosis (if you have one) or how you’d describe your symptoms 3. The #1 thing dizziness is stopping you from doing 4. Your 90‑day goal (example: “Walk 20 minutes outside without feeling like I’ll fall”) Then, reply to at least 1 other person’s intro with some encouragement. You’re building your team. STEP 3 – Choose Your Path Go to Classroom → Vestibular Paths and pick the one that fits you best: - Path A: BPPV - Path B: Neuritis / Hypofunction / “One side weaker” - Path C: Vestibular Migraine / PPPD‑type symptoms - Path D: Etc. Open Week 1 of your path and: - Read the overview - Do only the Day 1 exercises If you’re unsure which path to choose, say so in your intro and I’ll point you in the right direction. STEP 4 – Book Or Attend A Live Call Go to Calendar and: - Join the next Weekly Vestibular Call, or - Watch the latest replay if you can’t make it live Bring: - Your biggest fear / question - What you noticed from your first few days of exercises STEP 5 – Use “Dizziness SOS” On Bad Days On the days where everything feels too loud, too spinny, or too much: - Go to Classroom → Dizziness SOS - Pick one short routine to calm your system - Post a quick update in the community: “SOS Check‑in: Here’s what I did and how it went”
