Introducing LeadCapture Next Gen: Why We Rebuilt LeadCapture for the AI Era and How to Get Access
Today I want to share the biggest update in LeadCapture’s history. We’ve officially launched LeadCapture Next Gen. This is a brand-new platform rebuilt from the ground up. I want to explain what it is, why we built it, and what this means if you're currently a LeadCapture user. If you want to skip this post and get the full story, you can read it here https://leadcapture.io/blog/next-gen/ Before anything else, I want to address the most important question right away. LeadCapture Classic is not going anywhere. The platform you’re using today is now called LeadCapture Classic. Classic will continue running. It will continue to be supported. We will continue maintaining stability and performance and shipping fixes where needed. Nothing is being shut down. Nothing is being forced. Nothing is changing about your existing forms. Going forward, both platforms will run in parallel. You can keep using Classic exactly as you are today. Or you can begin using Next Gen. Or you can use both. The choice is yours. So... here's why we built Next Gen LeadCapture started in 2019 from a simple need. I wanted a high-converting multi-step form built specifically for lead generation. At the time, there really weren’t many tools designed for performance marketers and lead gen teams who needed flexibility and control. Yes, Typeform and Jotform existed but at the time I don't think you could easily integrate into Unbounce and I never liked their UI. So I built one a simple multi step form with a developer. Over the years, LeadCapture grew. I made a lot of mistakes along the way, tried taking it to unfit markets, and eventually discovered where the platform currently has best product-market-fit. During this time, we rapidly added features, integrations, verification, routing, enrichment, and builder improvements. We moved fast and shipped what users needed. It was never, and has never been easy. I've lost developers to war, some to not being able to keep up with pace, some to me just having high expectations regarding performance.. and like most platforms that evolve over time, we accumulated technical debt because of the above. The architecture is still best-in-class (AWS + Python/React), but the code base itself, is very hard to ship new, cutting-edge features in.

Hey John, How does it work with the affiliate program? My customers are definitely gonna want this. It'll also streamline that workflow. I'm gonna go through the videos now and implement it today and give it a test; however, it definitely is something that would help us, because we're having the clients separately get a website plus then go ahead and get your program. There are two different costs associated with that, and that's a friction point for us and the customer in order to get on boarded with your software. I think this will help us push more customers to you.

Week 02: Progress update on building a lead gen business
Progess update First some quick resources. If you missed it, here's the first thread - Weel 1intro post: https://www.skool.com/leadcapture/follow-along-as-we-build-a-mortgage-lead-gen-brand-from-scratch-leadcapture-mastermind-members-only I’m moving fast, but only working on this a little at a time. Brand + Funnel Setup - Brand site is mostly set up along with all disclaimer requirements (I could keep going but there's no point, so stopping there) - Three lead funnels built (more on that in a sec) - Unbounce landing pages are live and mobile-optimized - Meta + IG accounts are set up - Pixels/tracking installed across the brand site and funnels - Funnels QA’d Buyers LeadCapture naturally gets inbound from people looking for leads — usually mortgage LOs, real estate agents, and insurance agents. Normally I refer these out (especially FEX), but for LOs I’m going to lean into this and see if I can build a list of buyers. Two LO buyer leads came in this week looking for refi leads, so I’m seeing if they’re interested in what we’re offering here. Plus, I’ve got my friend who we’re launching the first step with. Somewhat related, I’m expanding my network with more buyers across the industry. I’m planning to build a vetted buyer list that others can tap into (more on that in another thread). Coming Up This Week I'm going to launch a couple of campaigns at very low spend just to warm up the ad account, get approvals, and test basic mechanics. Not trying to scale yet , purely setup and testing. First campaigns: - Campaign #1: Refi - Campaign #2: General home equity assessment A Couple of Key Points 1) Angles + Hypotheses Hypothesis #1:Positioning the funnel as a home equity assessment will drive high-volume, high-intent leads. I'll still run more generic funnels (“Get matched to a lender for the best refi rates”), but I’m also testing a Home Equity Score approach where they get an actual score on the thank-you step.

Some Thoughts on Compliance (It Should be a Competitive Advantage, Not Something to Fear)
Saw a post on LinkedIn about the recent regulation changes in Texas. Still need to dig in more, but my first take is this: if you’re capturing TrustedForm certs, OTP-verifying your leads, and using solid consent language, you should be in the clear. Here’s the bigger point, LeadCapture is being built with compliance at its core. We’re the only form/funnel builder that makes compliance this push-button easy. So if you’re already following best practices, there’s no reason to stress. In fact, while compliance can feel like a headache, I see it as a real competitive advantage.

This landing page layout has generated over 1 million qualified MVA leads... When I first saw this type of page performing, I thought: “Seriously? This basic thing?” But when you break it down against the LIFT model (credit to Chris Goward at WiderFunnel), it makes perfect sense. Let's dive into it: 1) Relevance -- The headline mirrors exactly what the prospect is searching for. No guessing.. you know you're in the right place when you land on the page. 2) Value Prop -- Most legal pages say, “Fill out this form to speak with an attorney.” That’s boring. It feels like work. This one though, “Find out how much you can be compensated today.” It anchors the reward. Huge psychological edge. 3) Clarity -- The design is almost too simple. But clarity beats “pretty” design every single time. A hill I'll die on. 4) Anxiety -- This is where so many pages screw up. Confusion and friction kill conversions. This page lowers anxiety by: - Leading with the outcome (get compensated). - Starting with a zero-friction question (injured or not?). - Offering a free case evaluation. - Using a real face + social proof so people know who’s behind the form. 5) Distractions -- Legal landing pages usually look like a Christmas tree. Flashing popups, tons of CTAs, content overloaded. This one cuts it all out. One path forward, no noise. 6) Urgency -- The only piece that’s missing here. If I were running this, I’d test urgency copy like: “Only X free case evaluations left today.” Sometimes that can backfire though, so I'm always careful when adding urgency. This page also uses our Lead Engage feature, that little popup in the corner. There’s something about having a face looking back at you that makes you want to engage, especially when it triggers on exit intent. (Only available on LeadCapture, by the way.) I think this is the perfect example of what I’ve been saying for years: you don’t need some over-engineered “funnel” to convert. You need a page that’s stupidly simple but built on the right principles. And to that point, we’ve shifted our roadmap and what we're working on a bit... we've got something HUGE in the works to make building these kinds of high-converting pages even easier. It’s going to be game changing. I don't want to say too much yet, but you can probably guess what it is. Stay tuned for updates
