Stretching before sporting activity
I play both golf and pickleball regularly but do not do a great job of stretching. What do you recommend to get my body ready for each?

@Tylae Westervelt I like the idea of not doing static stretches
Classroom??
Utilize the classroom. This is where I will be condensing a lot of useful information, workouts (WODs), Basic Nutrition help, blah blah blah. If you learn something or have a question PLEASE POST IT. This leads to engagement, you leveling up to unlock cool shit (golf balls, coffee, free coaching...) Some people may have the same question so it will benefit everyone. This is why this community is different than those whack ass FB groups where everyone just talks shit and provides no value. While I do love some shit talking... you better back it up and bring something to the table too. Ok, back on track here. USE and LEARN in the classroom! Show off a video from a workout you tried. Provide praise or criticism. The more I learn from you all on the needs, the more courses and value I can provide. Alright, rant over.

Long post, but it is important to understand what I am trying to do with this community. Welcome to Bogey Free Body. Somehow you found the corner of the golf world where we don’t just swing clubs — we throw iron around too. This is a different kind of clubhouse. No fluff. No gatekeeping. No soft ass foam rolling circles talking about “pelvic floor.” (it is important... but nah) This is for the ones who want to LOOK the part and PLAY the part. We’re talkin’: 💥 More distance off the tee 😏 More confidence over the ball 💪 More weight on the bar 🔥 Less fat, more muscle 🏌️‍♂️ More “what the hell have you been doing?” 🌶️ Look Better Naked WHAT WE DO IN HERE: - ✅ Share gym wins, PRs, fails, and post-lift delirium - ✅ Drop dope golf shots, courses, gear, and unhinged takes - ✅ Trash talk with love, and hold each other accountable - ✅ Post questions, advice, wins, and things you’d never ask the guy at the pro shop This is built for menaces on the course and savages in the gym. We always chase progress not perfection. ⚔️ RULES OF THE RANGE: 1. No fluff – If you’re here for yoga swings and “alignment energy,” ... Buckle Up 2. No ego lifting, no ego swinging – Train hard, swing smarter. Leave your Ego at the door. 3. Bring value or vibes – Preferably both. 4. Be a savage, not a douche – Lovely Banter is always welcome, with respect. 🎯 CALL TO ACTION: Drop an intro comment below with: - What You Do (might be able to connect with someone in here. Also keep that shit short) - Best Club in the bag - What you’re working on (swing, strength, fat loss, etc.) - Bonus: Pic of the best/favorite course you've played As you continue to engage in the community you will level up. As you do you can unlock some cool shit - 1 on 1 consultations - Tailor Made Programs for cheap (or even free 👀) - Other Prizes (Golf balls, Hats, etc) No laying up. No skipping sets. Definitely no skipping leg day. Under Classroom you will find workouts for you to try at any time. I will continue to add to these and bring you as much value as possible while doing so.

1st Nutrition Advice
Just to let you know you are in safe, caring hands. This is how easy it is to go about and not over stress nutrition. This is a classic, "I'm drink a ton of golf beers" or just a night out in general. I am all for having your fun, as long as it's in moderation and not ruining the hard work you are putting in all week. Also this shows you I walk the walk as well. Fitness and getting after it with the Guinness or Double Tequila Transfusions. Remember, the gym is for gains, the kitchen is for showing the gains off. I'm here to teach you how to walk that line gracefully.

@Tylae Westervelt Nutrition is a lifelong journey for me. As a kid I was always outside playing sports and could never put on weight and now hitting 50 y/o it is the opposite trying to keep it off. I do play golf, tennis, pickleball, and walk in my neighborhood 4-5 times a week for 2 miles
Coaching...
I love Coaching. These texts from this past month alone reassure me that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing in life. All these are from my online "clients" making progress throughout the summer months. I quote clients because they quickly become more than that. I want them to thrive and level up in life in areas they want to. I am a part of their process. The more they communicate with me, the more progress they see. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of their lives. This is what coaching means to me. Others success more so than my own. Cheers
