Hi there, this is only the second year I've been a Children's Ministry Director - I had never heard of Promotion Sunday until I started watching Lauren's videos on YouTube! I thought this is such a great idea. SO I just kept it simple, I wrote a little appreciation note to each of our grade 5's and attached it to a box of Junior Mints. I printed out some labels that I put over top of the word "mints" and replaced it with "Highs" because they are moving up to "Junior High!" It's just a little silly gesture but it's fun and this year the kids knew it was coming so they were excited & looking forward to it!
