So I played a game against our rivals, 12UAA1. My team is the second team, 12UAA2. We’re mostly 2014s, with a few 2013s. They’re the exact opposite. 2013s with one or two 2014s Last time we played, we lost 3-2 This time, we lost 10-4 I played terrible. I got scored on three times in one shift My +- (plus minus) would’ve been a -5 or -6, if I hadn’t been on when one of my teammates scored a goal The one Im really frustrated about is how their player chipped it past my D partner, then he literally OUTSKATED me on a breakaway and scored I got really upset It made me think I’m really slow Like, that kid was NOT EVEN TOP 10 in fast skaters kn that team Yet he still beat me Then another player (no offense, but even slower than the other) TIED me in speed I know they were 2013s but I’m still really frustrated and I feel like I’m slow How do I stop thinking this, get faster, and regain my confidence?

Why You Feel Mentally BLOCKED In Games And Make "SAFE" Plays
I explained why players panic with the puck and make simple plays instead of confident ones. I described how our identity creates a mental box of what feels safe, and stepping outside triggers protective mechanisms that push us back through fear and self-doubt. I taught that we can expand this identity box through visualization and emotional mastery work, providing evidence to these protectors until they trust us to make bigger plays.

Why You Feel Mentally BLOCKED In Games And Make "SAFE" Plays
👋🏻Hi
Hello everybody, my name is Ariel Yau. I am a 2014 who plays soccer and hockey (competitive in both). I am 11 years old, a first year 12U; 12UAA. My favorite player is Cale Makar. I struggle with overcoming mistakes and knowing that they help me rather than hurt me. I am also working on improving my strength (most notably my core strength) so I don’t fall as easy😅. Thanks for letting me join🙏🏼

Visualization Scenarios
How do I create the scenarios to visualize? I watched Corson’s “How to visualize for hockey players) Video, but my main problem that I can’t for the life of me think of situations to visualize; my mind just goes blank. Should I watch nhl highlights and visualize being in their shoes?

Who has the best hands in the NHL currently
Comment below. In my opinion either Patrick Kane or Trevor Zegras.
