🎮 Not enough gamification?
[ROAST MY IDEA] or [GIVE ME MORE SUGESTIONS] I just had an idea for gamificating this community's leaderboard, because that's not something I've been doing before. All of that will happen on top of the 3 ongoing competitions we already have. The way you gamify the leaderboards is by unlocking classroom content. So I'll be remaking the classroom in order to acommodate that new format. But here is the twist, instead of unlocking content, you unlock promotional and networking oppotunities, because that's the main thing here. The content will be avaiable to every member as I believe information is already easily avaiable, but genuine networking is what makes we stick to a group. Level 1: You unlock "The Roast Book" (more about it later) and Roasty High Skool (it will be locked to level 1 again), and I'll introduce you at the playground tagging someone you should meet Level 2: Welcome to the grill! I'll introduce you to the whole community in a separate weekly post if you just leveled up! Level 3: You get featured at the Cafeteria. This is a place where I'll promote everyone by niche. It was taking me too much work to keep it updated, but now I'll retroactivelly add everyone on the list, but only members that are level 3 and above. Level 4: The Nerd Board: get feautred in nerdy posts similar to this one. Level 5: Matchmaking Events: I'll regularly start conversation tagging members that are level 5 and above at the cafeteria or in separate posts. I'll keep closer attention to those members and what they are doing. Level 6: You get featured in The Roast Book. What is the Roast Book? It's a book compiling all of the wisdom given by our most active roasters from beggining to end, with the help of AI agents and linking the original comment. Each level 6 member and above will have their own chapter on the book and of course a section at the beggining promoting their work. We currently have 7 members that can be featured.

@Etien Rousseau if only my Montréal friend was on Skool! I’m more of a classically-trained chanson chanteuse and diction voice coach, so I can’t say too much on the rap OR the Quebequois. But what I can say is while I love your genre, it would be fun to really tell the story in the filmography. If the video told the story of the audio, I would really be engaged!
Roast my about page and cover photo!
I’m on page 6 of school in music and decided to look at other music groups on the first five pages. Mine looks like a child made it. Can you help I want to be on the first page of school in music category and I need to be roasted! 🍠 🔥 https://www.skool.com/the-singing-circle

And I’d love to learn about YouTube more. I have a bit of content, and I use a company called Feedbird to create shorts every month for me just to keep it active.

@Kevin Mwithiga ah…I see!
All about Roast & Promote
What is a roast? Roasting is giving brutally honest opinions about someone or something. For the brutal part, we do have to establish some limits, as we can't be offensive or unhelpful. You can point out the flaws of other people's work but not insult the person behind it. I think that's a good line to establish. Give genuinely helpful advice, pointing out the flaws and giving an alternative for improvement. Make it fun! We all need to see the flaws in our ways to progress. Rules: - Only post roast requests. Go to the playground post for other kinds of comments. - Submit up to one type of roast a day - Don't spam. - Don't do CTAs on other people's posts unless you are Premium or VIP. - Even Premium or VIP need to do a roast before they promote themselves. Point out the problems in a detailed way and at the end sell yourself as a solution for them. Not just a "contact me here so I can talk about your website" kind of post, those will be deleted. Types of roast you can submit: - Roast my site home page: Any kind of website you have, but preferably landing pages. If you post unsafe or fradulent links, you will be banned. - Roast my skool about page: Post a link to your skool's about page or screenshots and text of it, if you dont want to hurt your convertion rate - Roast my Profile: Social media profiles, profesional profiles, freelance profiles. - Roast my Content: Text content, images and designs or short videos. Get evaluated on the marketing value of a post - Roast my business Ideas: business ideas, community ideas, app ideas and etc . - Roast my pitch/ad: post your sales pitch, be it as an add, bannner, text or video content. - Roast my lesson: get evaluated on the teaching method and the educational value of your post, not the marketing one. - Marketing Research: If you want opinions on something relevant for your business, not a review.
