Update: Facebook ads will not spend
Everyone, hopefully you all can learn from this fb ads challenge we had. Maybe this will help some of you in the future. See my initial post here that I used to describe my ad issue: https://www.skool.com/ownrops/ads-will-not-spend?p=61996de3 The end result: facebook will sometimes default the ad creation to your personal page and not your business page. My initial ads were launched on my personal ad account, unknown to me. The ads started spending and generating leads. I then realized a few days later that I needed to run the ads from my business page and set that up.... but they did not spend. No matter what I or META support did, we were unable to get it to work. After the case went to the facebook engineering back office for analysis, a few days later, I received the reason for not spending. The same payment method CANNOT be used on both your personal and business ads account, even though you can add the same payment method and it will APPEAR to be verified. It will not actually be verified...and your ads will not spend. So I added an alternate method, waited 72hrs, tried again, and now my business account is spending. Whew. What a challenge. Hope this helps someone in the future!

Here’s one ad we are currently running
LIVE TOMORROW: STOP BURNING MONEY ON ADS
Tomorrow morning @Jacob Neffendorf is going live to walk through what he's seeing right now across 300+ land clearing / forestry mulching ad accounts If you’re running Meta ads, thinking about it, or complaining about “tire kickers,” this one is for you. Here’s what we’re hitting: 1. Your Videos Are Either Working… Or Wasting Cash He just pulled the numbers: - Good creative: $15–$30 per lead, real homeowners who actually book. - Weak creative: $150–$200+ per lead, same markets, same budget. 2. Tire Kickers = Bad Creative If your ad only shows a machine shredding trees, you attract people who think it’s cheap. We’ll show you how to talk so serious buyers call you and time‑wasters keep scrolling. 3. Weekend Lead Leak The data: weekend leads are the same as weekdays, but close way worse. Why? Most guys don’t touch leads until Monday. We’ll show you how the top guys work weekend/evening leads in minutes and get 2–3x more jobs from the same ad spend. 4. Know Your Numbers (Or You’re Guessing) We’ll help you answer 4 simple things: - Cost per lead - Close rate - Average job size - Real ROI WHEN: Tomorrow, 7:00am Mountain / 8:00am Central WHERE: Live on YouTube https://youtube.com/@theownerop Comment “LIVE” below if you want the link + reminder. Bring your last 30 days ad spend and best guess on leads so we can rough in your numbers live. P.S. I'm announcing next steps for the Founding Members who won the Top 10 Leaderboard BONUSES

@Jake Starr fantastic job brother!!! This is money. The only nit picky suggestion I would make is to include a definitive call to action at the end. Like “we’re ready to help” then “visit *website* or click link and fill out form for free property assessment”
Oversaturated Market Question
Good morning all, im new here and in the East Tennessee Market! Currently at a job and want to start doing this part time by renting out equipment for a skids steer mulcher and if larger jobs a PT300. But since I have no experience i called 2 companies (competitors) nearby around a 30mile radius if they are hiring operators to just gain some experience Both said that there's been alot of "weekend warriors" that have saturated the market and the businesses have slowed down for them in the past. They said they're investing $2000 on advertising but its still very slow that its okay for them to be a one man shop. My question is, how do you start in a saturated market part-time with a family, while also having not enough capital to invest in FB Ads in the beginnings?

People told me my market was “over saturated” and tbh we’re killing it right now. The companies that are going to tell you that are ones that don’t wanna put the time and effort that’s required to market in today’s society. I shouldnt say that as a blanket statement but that’s how I feel. I think a lot of people in the industry have gotten comfortable with it being a smaller niche and now more people are gravitating to it and it’s scary for them. That being said, there’s PLENTY of work most everywhere especially where you’re at. If you don’t wanna spend money on ads at first. Hit your 100 reach outs. I’m telling you this is all we did for the first two weeks. We bothered everyone we could possibly find and didn’t stop. Get yourself booked up a couple weekends and rent the equipment. That first job…..FILM EVERYTHING…you need to stack weeks of content from your first job and bleed it dry for every thing you can possibly get. Then be the content man in your area. Put yourself on all socials. Those other companies aren’t going to do that and don’t want to do that. We have 3 very large and established outfits in our same city, but I’m KILLING them on social media. I made the determination that I was going to talk to more people and post my face and our machine more than all of them and it’s paid off. In summary : - do your 100 reach outs every day (they work) - Book jobs and rent equipment based off that - Create as much content (free advertising) as possible off your job

Don’t get discouraged. Just keep working. And the biggest thing to set yourself aside from other companies is being a closer. You close by connecting. When you’re on these bids care about THIER problems and visions not your work. I LOVE being in my machine, but that doesn’t get me the job. Ask them what their dreams for these spaces are and follow up on it, let them paint a perfect picture of what it is they want and there’s your solution to their problem. Be genuine and care about the reason behind the work. A lady went with us simply because she said verbatim “I can tell you get excited about the outcome and that means a lot”
