Adding a barrier to entry keeps them away, mostly. Edit: Just connected the dots that you are now charging. I'm slow. For anyone in the MMO space that snuck past the paywall and reads this later, this is what I mean: If your offer involves recruiting other people to a training program that teaches them how to sell the same training program to others, congrats, you are a smarmy MMO person. If your offer actually helps someone solve a problem with their own business, congrats, you've figured out what it's all about.
