This morning I was reminded yet again of the wonderful country we live in. I’ve got guests visiting from Potchefstroom — the place where I was born and spent most of my years. It took me back to memories of Vredefort, where my grandpa had a farm, and where we took Sunday School kids and Scouts for camp. And of course, I thought about the Vredefort Dome — over 2 billion years old and so massive it’s visible from space! 🌍 Did you know that from the warm Indian Ocean waves of Durban to the icy Atlantic waters of Cape Town, our coastline is one of the most diverse in the world? For me it was just a reminder this morning that our land carries stories far older than us, shaping the beauty we see today.
