POLL: Carnivore Vs. Keto Vs. Ketovore
Hey everyone! 👋 I wanted to see what you all are doing! I’ve been chatting with some of you in the community and on IG, and I’ve realized we’re not all 100% carnivore here—some of us are carnivore, keto, or even ketovore! Which is pretty cool! For me personally, I’m 100% carnivore because I feel my absolute best the lower I go on carbs. When I’m at zero carbs, I shine and feel unstoppable. 💪 I’m different from most carnivores. I don’t follow this diet out of hate for plants or fruit—I do it because it’s simple to maintain, helps me lose fat effortlessly, my love for meat, and makes me feel incredible during workouts. Honestly, I feel like I’m 20 years old again! LOL I just don't need carbs personally... That said, I also work with clients who follow a more ketovore-ish approach, staying under 20-30 grams of carbs. They’re still fat-adapted, thriving, and crushing their goals. They just want a little flexibility in their lives. No matter which path you follow—carnivore, keto, or ketovore—the main goal is the same: - Get into ketosis - Become fat-adapted - Reap the benefits To me these ways of eating are like cousins—they share the same foundation, but the approach can vary based on your goals or health needs. For example: - If you’re managing certain health conditions, strict carnivore might be best. - If weight loss with some flexibility is your focus, keto could be the way to go. I’d love to hear what you are all doing!

@Terrel Lewis I have always ate lots of meat through my whole life, I am 53 now. About one month ago, I started to experiment with carnivore. I found that I was not feeling my best anymore and it felt like a slow wave coming in, and I felt immediate difference when I went to full carnivore. It was amazing just like you’re saying. I have a question and I hope it wasn’t already asked. Why is it that people like us feel bad when we have the carbs? Is it because of metabolism, like when I was younger I could just eat whatever the hell I wanted with a very, very carb heavy diet and I was seemingly fine. But now during this last month, when I had days that I cheated, I felt like absolute crap and then after a couple more days going back full carnivore, I got to feeling better. Is there a way to explain this? Thank you. Also, another thing on my mind, what is this? I hear about vegetables and maybe that not being good for certain people or have I been hearing that right?

@Terrel Lewis Thank you for your answer. This makes sense. I am just now learning all of this so it is new to me. The coolest thing that you mentioned is the effortless fat loss. lol. I make no effort except to eat all the fatty steak i want and i loose weight and my hunger goes away. THIS is the holy grail for fat loss in my opinion. Wow.
