It's helpful to have had a dad in the business. And I talk to many who dont. My dad hasn't been around for my projects to lend an ear or a shovel but he did teach us skills. Those skills are so teachable and if you are ready to take what you know and apply that to building projects.....theb you are in the right room. No building background...no worries.
