NEVER focus on Dollars To Get Killer Deals Closed?
Sounds counter intuitive... But its not If your objective is to craft the best outcome, how will you ever accomplish that by focusing on the opposite of what sellers/agents/wholesalers/Uncle Rufus the 3rd are looking for? If you are pulling in one direction to get things lower while the seller is pulling on the other to get more.... thats a LOT of energy wasted in a a tug of war with an outcome NO ONE will ever really be satisfied with.... While everyone is playing the numbers game, we play the "what do you really need" game... If it's all about money? - don't expect a positive result - someone will ALWAYS be willing to pay more - and you have nothing special to bring to the table... Make it about "them moving to Florida now" "getting out of the situation" "removing the burden" and NOW you are cooking with gas.... The clip from the call below was played on the seller call - seller has to sell his entire portfolio to cover a crippling debt service that went from 3% to 9% as it adjusted... Some of his loans have prepayment penalties in the 300K range - OUCH - His need? I dont want to lose my good name and have to sell ALL my assets...And I might have to bring cash to the table.... NO buyer will close on this - his debt is too high.... UNLESS you KNOW HOW to solve it.... “Job security” is right up there with “jumbo shrimp”… Sounds clever. Means nothing. It’s the bedtime story they tell the mule before they shoot it behind the barn. You think you’re safe because you still get a paycheck? That’s cute. You're not secure — you’re just next. They’re still squeezing value out of you. Still smiling while you clock in early and stay late. Still tossing you “culture bonuses” and pizza parties So you don’t notice the trap door being built right under your feet. And while they’re quietly cutting costs? You’re fantasizing about “retirement.” Let’s break that down: 🚨RETIRED: You know where else they use that word? Tires. Tech. Weapons. Anything that’s been shelved. Discontinued. No longer useful. Ummmm- Is THAT your plan? To give “them” the best years of your life… so YOU can one day be considered obsolete — on purpose? How have you never looked at how fucking ridiculous that really is? And if it hasn’t happened to you yet? Just wait. They’re polishing your pink slip like it’s a crystal trophy for ‘Most Loyal Mule.’ You KNOW - One day it’s: “We’re restructuring.” “You’ve been great, but…” “It’s not personal.” Yes it is fuckers! YOU built their kingdom. Now you’re just disposable. All just for what exactly?!?! Look…. You’ve got two options: 🔒 Keep pretending your title will protect you and keep polishing the cage… Or — 🔥 Burn the illusion and build the only thing that’s actually secure: Skills. Leverage.
