Getting Clear On Your Vision
As a sales pro, are you clear on these these things: - what sort of sales person that you want to be (and by extension, who you DON'T want to be) - what sort of people you want to sell to (and by extension, who you DON'T want to sell to) - what sort of problems you want to focus on solving and how you want to solve them (and by extension, what you DON'T want to be solving) - what you'll accept and allow to achieve the above (standards and boundaries) (and by extension, what you WON'T) - what sort of energy you want to be around, generate and attract (and by extension, what you DON'T) Things get clearer when you can answer the above and then map that out. Once clearer, it becomes easier to create and then become. And on landing there then expect it to fit like a hand in a glove. Expect congruence and a sense of things being right. Marry that up with high performance and you've hit the sweet spot of being in the right place and then performing. It feels good - and right - and it's really lucrative! A magic combination! It helps you remove the noise and cut out those who don't matter nor are of any interest to you and instead focus on who and what you need to. And that world is there for all. There for all on getting it right. The vision, the commitment, the work and then the performance. I have found and created my version of the above. I help my students do their version too. It's a pleasure for me to help them with that and I know it's just as satisfying for the students too!
