Ironman Helmet First Motorization Test!!
“The moment of truth.” 🤖 ✨ After hours of wiring servos and motor controls, Evan finally tried on the Iron Man helmet for the first time… and it worked! Seeing his reaction when the faceplate opened and closed made every late-night build session worth it. This is what The Bonding Blueprint is all about: building, learning, and creating unforgettable moments together. 👉 Full build journey coming soon on YouTube!

That is awesome! Can't wait to see the full video!
Quick update from us… still here, just busy building 😅
It’s honestly harder than I expected to remember to jump in here and post while we’re in the middle of projects… but behind the scenes, we’ve been full steam ahead. We just wrapped up our 3-month maintenance on the Bambu H2S and filmed the whole process. I’ll be editing that this weekend, so it should be up next week. If you’ve got a printer or plan to get one, this is one of those videos you’ll want saved for later. At the same time, we’ve officially started printing the Iron Man helmet in ASA. First prints look solid, and the material already feels noticeably lighter and more durable than PLA. I’m really curious to see how the full suit turns out using this. We’re also working on getting the classroom content more organized and starting to build that out so there’s real value sitting here, not just updates. And quick reminder, we’re still hopping on weekly for coffee chats. Right now it’s Tuesdays at 7pm Eastern, but we can flex that if needed. Most of the time we’re just hanging out, editing, gaming, or working on something live. Nothing fancy, just real behind-the-scenes time. Appreciate everyone sticking around while we build this out. Question for you: Would you rather see more behind-the-scenes updates like this, or more structured step-by-step content dropped into the classroom first?

For here, I think both would be great. I'd also love to see a blooper reel and behind the scenes of your videos. I'm betting there is some hilarious stuff in there (as well as an epic amount of Evan eye-rolls. )😀
🖥️ New Project Drop: Building a High-End PC Together
We’ve got a new build in the works and I wanted to give everyone here a quick behind-the-scenes look before the full video comes out. Evan and I are filming a full high-end PC build together, and this was a big moment for us because it’s his first time ever building a computer. I’ve built PCs for years, but this time was different. This time I got to teach him how each part works, why it matters, and how everything connects together. That kind of hands-on learning is exactly why we started The Bonding Blueprint in the first place. We didn’t rush into this build either. I spent months watching prices, waiting for deals, and picking up parts at the right time so we could build something powerful without overpaying during all these AI memory price spikes. So this project was part strategy, part patience, and part teaching moment. When we are finished filming: ✔ Evan will have completed his first real PC build ✔ I get a new editing & gaming machine ✔ Evan gets my current PC as his upgrade ✔ We can finally record games we play together smoothly (Evan's current computer doesn't have enough power to keep up) Check out the short teaser clip showing some of the build moments, including Evan installing parts himself and helping assemble everything. The full video is coming once editing is done. Quick Question: Have you or your kids ever built a computer before, or is it something you’ve thought about trying someday? I’m curious where everyone stands: - Built one before - Want to try someday - Sounds cool but feels intimidating Drop your answer below 👇

I haven't built a rig on my own in years and the last one I built I had you helping. Being that the computers I used to build had Pentium processors and Voodoo Graphics cards, I wouldn't know where to begin. 😂
🦾 New Video: Helmet Scaling & Test Fit
We just released the next episode in our 3D Printing Journey. This one is all about scaling and test fitting the Iron Man helmet before committing to final prints. If you’ve ever printed wearable cosplay for your kid, you know this is where things can go sideways fast. A file can look perfect on the screen, then you try it on and realize something feels off. In this episode we: • Scaled the helmet using Armorsmith • Printed a full prototype • Assembled it with tape for a quick test fit • Checked comfort, vision, and overall proportions Honestly, this step helps set the tone for the entire suit. If you’ve printed wearable pieces before, what was the biggest fit issue you ran into? Let’s compare notes.

That helmet looks so great and I can't wait to see it all pimped out with the motors and LCD lights...
