I'm Livid!!
The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project's Humane Division, alongside Animal Control for the City of Warren, OH, and the Trumbull County Sheriff's Department responded to a chained-up dog in distress call at a residence on Central Parkway SE in Warren, OH, in which the dog was pacing frantically in feel like temperatures of 98 degrees Fahrenheit. Upon arrival, the dog was found laying on his side and unresponsive, the dog's internal temperature at the time was OVER 109 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT! The dog had no access to shelter, shade or water and was deemed deceased at the scene. Criminal charges are expected to be filed, pending the completion of an investigation. I can tell them what the sentence should be!

OMG!!! I know you, myself and others that would have rescued him first, and then called. Poor baby.
Why??
I want this kitten BUT they want $425 to rescue her? Why? That's crazy!

Oh My Goodness. I could understand the price if the kitty was a rare (male) calico. Can you imagine how much they would charge for a kitty that was 1 in 3,000?
PROFESSOR C. NUGGET'S MICROBIOME MINUTE: YOUR PET'S INVISIBLE SUPERPOWER
Look down at his shoes 🤣 Before you make fun of his shoes... Black Converse high-tops. 😂 I love him 🤣 It's like he's saying: "Science is serious. Dress code is optional." Or... "I've got a Ph.D. in Nuggets, but I'm still cool." Did you know? Your dog or cat is home to trillions of microorganisms that work around the clock to support their health. This incredible community is called the microbiome. A healthy microbiome helps support: - Digestion and nutrient absorption - Immune function - Healthy skin and a shiny coat - Brain and nervous system communication - A balanced inflammatory response When the microbiome becomes unbalanced, your pet may experience digestive upset, recurring ear infections, itchy skin, allergies, low energy, or other chronic health challenges. The exciting news? The microbiome is dynamic, it can respond to nutrition, stress, medications, and the environment, negatively, but every positive change you make has the potential to support your pet's internal ecosystem. At the Simcha Hub of Pet Physiology, we believe that understanding your pet's microbiome is one of the most important steps toward supporting lifelong health. Because sometimes, the biggest difference comes from the tiniest organisms.

EXTREME HEAT
This is the map where I live for tomorrow. Extreme heat warning. People that leave their pets out in it, need to make sure they are staying outside with them. 😁
