Yesterday, I floated the idea of creating Simcha Pet Physiology Digest, a digital magazine focused on pet health education, myth-busting, practical insights, and community spotlights. Some of you encouraged me to create it. So, Simcha Pet Physiology Digest is officially moving forward! ๐Ÿพ This publication is being created for pet parents who want to understand more, support better, and become stronger advocates for the animals they love. The inaugural issue will include: - Gut Health & The Microbiome - Behavior & Physiology - Nutrition & Wellness - Myth vs. Fact - Research Explained in Plain English - Real Stories from Pet Parents - Community Spotlights - Pet of the Month Contest - Heroes on Both Ends of the Leash Yes, I'm dedicating a special section to honoring: - Military Working Dogs - Police K9s - Service Dogs - Therapy Dogs - Search & Rescue Dogs And the incredible people who work beside them. Because some heroes walk on four legs. And let's be honest... The Pet of the Month Contest may become one of my favorite sections because pet parents LOVE showing off their fur babies. Whether your pet is: A squirrel-chasing maniac The ruler of the household A professional treat negotiator A world-class couch potato Or a crowing rooster I want to hear their story! Who wants to be one of the Founding Featured Partners in the very first issue with global distribution both on and off Skool? If you're a: Pet Community Owner Pet Influencer YouTube Creator Veteran Law Enforcement Author Trainer Rescue Organization Pet Business Owner and would like to advertise, be featured, submit an article, or share your mission with our readers, send me a message. There's something pretty special about being able to say: "I was featured in the inaugural issue of Simcha Pet Physiology Digest." Thank you for encouraging me to take this leap. Together, we're building more than a magazine. We're building a community that learns, grows, and advocates for the pets we love.

@Dr. Peninah Wood Ph.D Oh no ๐Ÿคฃ and I am not helping. We are going to have to get on a Zoom call. That would be so much fun.

Monday Nugget: Living With a Chronic Disease...
Is Like Having a Very Opinionated Roommate A chronic disease is basically that roommate who never moves out. You didn't invite it. You didn't ask for it. And it definitely doesn't pay rent. One day you're making plans, feeling productive, and conquering your to-do list... Then your chronic condition walks in and says: "Actually, today's agenda is fatigue." Or pain. Or brain fog. Or a surprise symptom you haven't seen in three weeks. The challenge isn't just managing the condition itself, it's managing the unpredictability that often comes with it. A Little Hopeful Truth Here's something your unwanted roommate, and traditional medicine, doesn't want you to know: The majority of chronic diseases can be reversed, improved, put into remission, or stopped when the root causes are addressed. The catch? It usually requires change. And let's be honest, change is hard. Most people would rather negotiate with the chronic disease than give up our favorite snacks, start exercising, reduce stress, get the advanced labs, or rethink some long-held habits. They want the magic pill. But their bodies are begging for a lifestyle upgrade. The good news is that change doesn't have to happen overnight, and you don't have to figure it out alone. If you're wondering how to start, the information is in the community. Because while chronic disease may be a stubborn roommate, it doesn't have to be the landlord. ๐Ÿ˜„ Click that link to join. It's free and classes are individual priced. Pick one or pick all of them. No class is over $10. No tier membership required to have access to the classes! Thanks for offering these classes to us as such an affordable price. โค๏ธ Lifetime information for less than we pay for a couple cups of coffee or even 1. I have Systemic Lupus and I have had the diagnosis for 32 years. Yes, it may be my roommate but it doesn't define my destiny.
Antidepressant recalled over potential cancer-causing substance
FYI.... NEW YORK (WPIX) โ€“ A popular antidepressant is being recalled because it may contain elevated levels of a cancer-causing substance, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Thousands of bottles of Duloxetine (Cymbalta) delayed-release capsules are being voluntarily recalled by Breckenridge Pharmaceutical, Inc. The pills are commonly used to treat depression, anxiety, and fibromyalgia, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Recall alerts say the impacted medication may contain more than the recommended limit of N-nitroso-duloxetine, which belongs to a class of compounds classified as probable carcinogens for humans. https://www.newsnationnow.com/us-news/recalls/antidepressant-recall-cancer-causing-substance/
