Good ol’ classic juice to start the day, finished my papaya, and used the last of my misc. ingredients for the smoothie and dinner salad. Every cell of my body is smiling with joy 😁

@Yuliya Goetsch I was looking at the ones Tatsiana suggested but not sure which one to get. I want something portable so I can take it when I travel, not that I travel a lot but any suggestions? You mentioned celery. I do want one that juices celery. Not too expensive but a good one! So many to choose from!!!!

@Tatsiana Nestserava Yes! So glad you shared that! I've been using Bronner's hemp soap and actually know the Bronner family. I have been in the hemp industry for 26 years now! Hemp really can change the world.... it provides everything we need from protein, food, clothing, housing, clean burning energy, soaps, cleaning supplies... the list goes on & on! β˜ΊοΈπŸ’š

How did you make the wrap? It looks delicious! We have an older model food dehydrator that we bought before we moved. I want to go back to Tatsiana's instagram and learn how to make some of her raw wraps that look so delicious! πŸ’š

Hi everyone, my name is Cindy. I live in Somerset, PA near two ski resorts and it is so very cold right now! My 3 favorite fruits are: watermelon, oranges, strawberries I want to be the healthiest I can be at my age! I really want to improve my body and gut health which is not bad but not as good as I know it can be. My family still loves to eat cooked foods. We are all plant-based but I spend a lot of time preparing everything from scratch and by the time I finish, I don't want to be in the kitchen any more! I hope I can learn some raw recipes that they will love as well. It is very cold here right now and my biggest challenge is that I love to walk outside so it is hard to get out when it is freezing! It feels like 4 degrees outside right now. The other night it was 11 below. 😬 I do not have a lot of inflammation but I do have a belly pouch and need to get into better shape! I really want to complete this challenge and feel the best I can!

Why you may crave potatoes

If you're under-consuming calories, your body may crave calorie-dense, starchy foods like potatoes to meet its energy needs. Potatoes may feel like a "comfort food" due to their ability to quickly satisfy hunger. 2 βœ… Desire for Complex Carbohydrates Fruits, the main carbohydrate source on a raw vegan diet, provide simple sugars (glucose and fructose), which digest quickly. Potatoes, as a source of complex carbohydrates, provide slower-digesting energy, which your body may crave to feel more sustained energy. Result ➑️ Your body might be seeking the slower, steadier energy release that potatoes provide. 3 βœ…. Some mineral deficiencies Like Potassium, Magnesium or Vitamin B6 (present in potatoes) 4 βœ…. Emotional Comfort and Habit You may subconsciously crave the emotional comfort or familiarity that these foods provided before switching to a raw vegan diet. Transition and Detox When transitioning to a raw vegan diet, your body detoxifies and adjusts to the lack of cooked and processed foods. I don't eat potatoes very often, maybe once or twice a month. We live with my 92 yr old father-in-law whose diet we changed to plant-based. He still wants some of the food he is used to so I have recreated many dishes he likes including mashed potatoes using hemp milk and oat butter. Sometimes I eat them but not very often.
