Don't know if I actually belong here
First off, let me say that I'm definitely not trying to offend anybody and I'm not against what yall do here. I think that this is an awesome community and the work that yall do, with the objective in mind, is truely amazing and on point. The prospect of the revenue possibilities is enticing by itself, not to mention being on the forefront of a tech wave. I've been thinking about this for the past few days and my heart is pulled in two directions. I know I can follow the instructions and produce a product that the consumer is asking for, but in the process I feel like I might start to lose the essence of what brought me here in the first place. I love music. Anybody who listens to my content will recognize that it is not done with just a few click and that real effort is put in to each and every upload. Every song that I have made came from real world experiences in my life. I can't help but feel that if I deviate from that, then I'll not be staying true to who I am as an artist. But on the flipside of that coin, $15k a month is life changing and definitely doable with this system. Idk. Has anybody else had this internal conflict also? I'm still really new to this ai music thing and only recently came across this community. Leave your comments and thoughts.

@Jennifer Killby that's awesome! I never thought about having separate "artists" for different emotions or even genres. I've always just done everything under my main artist, who is the ai persona of me, I guess. I try to keep a somewhat cohesive emotional arc to my music, especially when putting together an album, but more often than not, one day I'll create a deeply emotional song about love and friendship and then 2 days later I'm creating a hip-hop jam about cruising with the homies. Lol It all really depends on what's in heart and mind at the time. At first I was going through old txt messages between me and this girl that was was my best friend that I kinda had a thing for, and using those to write lyrics. It worked out really well and many of my most popular songs originated from those. Since life has slowed down a little recently it I becoming more difficult to source good inspiration. Can only make so many songs about working ur butt off all day turning wrenches and making music all night. Life's drama always makes for good music, but got to have a life first, lol. How long have you been writing for? I started getting into the music making with ai late last year and only started uploading for public consumption a few months ago. I usually make and release 2 or 3 songs a week.

@Jennifer Killby I wish I could go back along the family tree, but unfortunately I don't know much about it. My folks split when i was pretty young and i only talk to my dad a few times throughout the year via email. Went through some trauma in my younger years and my brain locked out a lot of memories, so the past doesn't offer a whole lot of content. I have written a few songs that helped me process some of the really bad stuff that I had been carrying for over 30 years. I also find that I write more about my interactions with people than anything else. My next album that I'm about to start is going to be focused on my beliefs (non religious) and ambitions. My last album ( also my first released album) was all about love and friendship and has been doing pretty good. It's only been out a fee weeks.
