2.5.26 ~ Thursday Reflection & Prayer
THURSDAY ~ ENDURANCE & QUIET STRENGTH Morning steady. Air crisp. Light persistent. Life continuing. Iâm moving through this morning a little more slowly, aware of my body, aware of my breath. The cold still lingers, but the light is unmistakable nowâbrighter, longer, refusing to retreat. Outside, the birds continue their rhythm. Feeding. Waiting. Returning. They donât seem concerned with yesterdayâs storms or tomorrowâs weather. They tend to what is needed today. Thereâs something instructive about that. After a week of remembering, of honoring loss, of holding gratitude and grief together, today feels like a reminder that endurance is not loud. Strength doesnât announce itself. It simply keeps showing up. God often builds resilience quietlyâin ordinary mornings, in consistent habits, in the decision to remain present even when emotions are layered. Today doesnât ask for more than I have. It asks only that I stay faithful to the moment in front of me. TODAY'S REFLECTION Quiet perseverance is still powerful. You donât need to rush to be strongâsteadiness is enough. PRAYER God, Thank You for sustaining us in ways we donât always notice. When weariness lingers, remind us that You are our strength. Help us move through today with patience, compassion, and trust. Teach us to honor the quiet work You are doing within us, even when progress feels slow. May we lean on You, step by step, breath by breath. Amen. đ Until tomorrow, may you move steadily, rest confidently, and rememberâyou are never alone. With love, Grandma Grady
