Dr Pete Goldman and I discussed this: God Doesn’t Need Chiropractic But… https://www.braintriggermethod.com/how-healing-really-works-podcast-episode-52
Hey Dr. Dan - love the podcast with Dr. Pete. I would love your take on this … I heard you say one time that one of your things is you hate when people are lied to and deceived. How did/do you overcome this in your mind - my biggest fear in practice is someone not getting the result I tell them to expect, and me being that person who they feel lied to them. I feel like I have as much faith in the innate intelligence of the body as anyone, and I now see how the likely reason for not getting the result was more likely a lack of rapport than anything I did physically. But that thought always leaves a little bit of doubt in the back of my mind. “What if I’m not able to get rapport with this person?” has replaced “What if my adjustment isn’t good enough for this person?” and still leaves me questioning myself from time to time. Did you ever have this feeling, and if so, what did/do you do to overcome it when making recommendations for patients?
