It has to be a very common chore like taking out the garbage, dusting, mopping, vacuumn, sweeping floors.

resting, chilling, lounging,sleeping.....

I will be obvious and say a dish washer. If the actual machine breaks their is the sink to do the dishes in.

@Abigail Ringger we had one for 8 years and for 6 years it was used as a storage area since it was broken and not worth repairing.

Interesting with all the clues, not a vacation but one could call it one, something most cannot afford but still do not want to do if they could afford it. Somewhat scary for most hence most wont do it, retire early most WOULD do......I think it is something that involves adventure..perhaps become an airline pilot or astronaught where one would go high above earth either in the atmosphere or almost there where its hard to breathe and has danger. I will say become a astronaught or overseas long distance pilot.
