I remember finding Nelson Nash's Becoming Your Own Banker as a recommend book on Amazon which I read and immediately got it. I brought it up to my wife who said she was very unsure about it and got a general bad feeling about it as if we were talking to a used car salesman. A few years passed, and I came across the book again and started really digging deeper to where I am comfortable and ready to get started, just need to get my wife on board so that this is something we can do together and not just me drag her into something she doesn't understand. We try to come to a joint decision for all major life decisions, so this is something we need to be on the same page before jumping in.
