It's called the "Rudder" Effect. Like a small rudder controlling a large ship. The tongue controls the direction of a person's life... interesting. Saw this today, then looked for scriptures and found these. Proverbs 15:1 Soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:4 says, A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Proverbs 16:24 Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
