Looks Good But is it Built Strong?
Some marriages look good on the outside but are falling apart underneath. We’ve learned that a strong marriage doesn’t just happen. It takes intention, sacrifice, honesty, and daily investment. You can make things look fine for a while, but if there’s no real foundation, eventually the cracks will show. A thriving marriage isn’t built on appearances. It’s built behind closed doors — in the hard conversations, the small choices, the forgiveness, and the decision to keep choosing each other again and again. Don’t just build a marriage that looks good. Build one that’s actually strong. Question: What do you think makes a marriage strong beneath the surface?

I'm grateful for my wife because she is a hard working woman because I can't work and a good mom to all of our kids and she understands my mental health
My story
I am thankful to be here. I need to make real change in my life. I am hoping this group can help me break free from my childhood trauma. I have an anxious attachment and am constantly needing the reassurance from loved ones. I want to learn to love myself so I can be a role model for our kids and hopefully win my wife back. We separated about 3 weeks ago. The stress of my wife turning her 16 year old son into the police as well as her mother dying tragically in a car accident caused a huge fight. My wife lashed out at me and I grabbed her. The police were called. I now live alone and drive 90 minutes to and from work. I need to learn to communicate with my wife. She is very avoidant.. I hope this group can teach me the skills to love, set boundaries, and show me how to live the life I have always dreamed of. I have my dream partner, and best friend in my wife.
