I chose this guy because I love the color and really wanted to indulge in the complements of orange and blue. For the blue I used a wild color called Carribean Blue from Old Holland.

I wanted to note this before I forget. I've worked with @Natasza Zurek for 3 years now. Her progress is unbelievable to see. Look at her recent painting. Wow 😍. "The Man who laughs" (1928) was at the tail end of the silent erra and the inspiration for the look of the Joker, the film is more drama and tragedy than horror but I thought I would include him in my series. Jumping right into the third one so keep a look out

Loads to take in but it is a brilliant 1.5hour lesson from @Chris Legaspi . I have plans to watch it again- watched it twice in this week. The main take away so far is no matter how much render I do, I cannot cover up bad foundations of the figure. It re-emphasises to me the importance of getting the foundations right before shading and rendering the figure. Awesome references too.
