Where can we get these clip on lenses for glasses? I think Dr Alid mentioned Ashwaganda as an aid for relaxation also in comments under another post (menstrual cycle?). Is it ok to take valerian root and ashwaganda together?
Hot Topic - My Opinion on The Pill💊🤷‍♀️
Hey Hey! I'm currently taking an online Women's Health & Conservative Management course as part of my elected concentration in school. We specifically go over Preconception, Pregnancy & Postpartum. My instructor gives us weekly Hot Topics and asks us to provide a video recorded response to each. Here is my current opinion of the Hormonal Birth Control Pill. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ If you have any questions, comments or want to share your own experience please let us know below⬇️⬇️⬇️ https://www.loom.com/share/ac5a2b9b423246af8f9affa6a26a7459?sid=48d7f9b9-c030-4522-9357-5ea9fe4aba7e

I was also on BC for many years… more than you. I attribute a lot of my issues to the use of that. And yes, had I known now what I knew back then… I would have never ever gone on it. Tracking your cycle definitely empowers you with knowledge and info about your own body. Also teaches you to pay attention to your own body cues. All things that are important. Thank you for sharing Thali!
🎉 Welcome, 2025! Let’s Crush Our Goals Together! 🎉
Happy New Year, ladies! 💫 I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season filled with love, joy, and maybe even some moments of self-care. Now, as we step into 2025, it’s time to focus on YOU and the goals you’re ready to conquer! Here’s the thing—it’s not about the cliché “new year, new me.” Instead, it’s about becoming someone who SHOWS UP DAILY, building habits and making intentional choices to create the health, wellness, and vitality you crave. 💪✨ 🧠 Neurology-backed principles for success: - Neuroplasticity: Your brain has the incredible ability to rewire itself based on your habits. Consistent actions, no matter how small, can create lasting changes in your health and mindset. - The Power of Visualization: Dr. Tara Swart, a leading neuroscientist, emphasizes that visualizing your goals primes your brain for success by activating your Reticular Activating System (RAS). What we focus on, we see more of! - Habits and Dopamine: Every time you complete a habit, your brain releases dopamine—the “feel-good” chemical—which motivates you to keep going. Start small to build momentum! ✨ Daily Practices to Kickstart 2025: 1. Take 5 minutes each morning to visualize the healthy, energized version of yourself you’re working toward. 🧘‍♀️ 2. Prioritize movement—even a 10-minute walk can activate your brain and body. 🚶‍♀️ 3. Make one intentional food choice each day that supports your health goals. 🍎 Remember, transformation isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. One day at a time, one habit at a time. Let’s make 2025 the year we lean into our goals and show ourselves what’s possible. 💬 What’s ONE habit you’re committing to this year to support your health journey? Share below—I can’t wait to cheer you on! #NewYearNewHabits #BrainHealth #EmpoweredWellness

I am walking every morning before the kids get up, usually following that up with the dynamic warm up if there is time. I’m also working on increasing my protein intake. I became more aware of it with Cooper, but really taking the time to do it for myself now. I was given a suggestion to start a daily planner that starts with one thing I’m grateful for and to list 3 big tasks for the day. Being a stay at home mom has challenges where I never feel like anything gets “completed.” And it’s definitely helped me with my mental state knowing I DID do something. And to see you mention @Thali Torres , that there actually is a dopamine increase with task completion… it’s true!
