Tai Chi Principles - "Han Xiong Ba Bei"
Hollow or empty the chest. Round the back. Something to note here... With practices like this, typically, we aren't "trying" to "do" something. As in with FORCE. We want to let it happen. Release the tension. "Song" is the Chinese term. These are more qualities or feelings we are looking for, Rather than actions to make happen. From Taiji Zen with DDR. ENJOY. 🙏

March Madness! 🏀
I don't follow this like I used to... But it's still one of the all-time great sporting events. Anyone filling out their brackets? Any hot takes or upset specials? Lock in your picks.

Get Slow! 🫠
Sometimes we just need to slow down. It helps us to be more aware, more present. We constantly hear "live in the moment" or "be more present", because for whatever reason we have a tendency to rush through life, almost as if we're trying to fast forward at times (until we end up trying to rewind). So slowing down in general allows us to "stop and smell the roses" so to speak. With Tai Chi specifically, some people tend to think of the end posture as the movement, but the movement is every single point along the way. It's hard to pay attention or notice each of those points at full speed. If you have 2 points on a graph and connect those dots, you could draw any kind of line in between. But with a 3rd point, you have a better idea of what the line is supposed to look like. And more so with a 4th point and so on. Just standing still (Wuji / Zhan Zhuang) really put a lot of things into perspective for me in regards to alignment and all of the things going on internally at a given time. Maybe if we move in slow motion, time might too... It could make for a good science experiment?! 😎

Protecting Your Knees When Practicing Tai Chi
Many people have heard "Get Low" 🎶 With most things, the best way is to ease in. This is one of the reasons Tai Chi works so well... It's done slow, controlled, balanced, aligned... And goes with the flow. ENJOY. 🙏

When things go "wrong"... Wisdom
Everyone usually wants everything to go "just right"... But wisdom comes more from things going "all wrong". There are lessons in the losses. Have you ever had something "bad" turn out to be "good"? ☯️
