A bit of food for thought this weekend... 🧠
I keep coming back to this one. The capability to automate is growing fast. But the question leaders rarely ask is: what does this decision say about us as an organisation? Are the people leading your company asking that question? 🤔 Full conversation with Alex Issakova is on Women Lead AI podcast. Worth a listen. 🎧 YouTube Link Spotify Apple Podcasts

The question Wiktoria's flagging is the one most leadership rooms duck. "What does this decision say about us" lands as moralistic if you ask it cold. What I notice works in real meetings: ground it in something specific. "If a new hire watched us make this call, what would they conclude about who we are?" That version gets answered. The abstract one gets nodded at and skipped. The other move is timing. Asked after the decision, the question feels like a guilt-check. Asked before, the room treats it as part of the design.

Imagine being a 68 year old women in a room full of guys during TechWeek. That's me. After teaching my friends at the senior center how to maximize their phone, AI and health portals, I decided to take my show on the road. But seriously, I want to build apps that helps improve the quality of life for us older gals. I have three that I am working on. SooulPaws, Ms. Sassy and Where's the bathroom.

You're the only person in that TechWeek room who actually sat next to your end user this week. Most builders haven't watched a 68-year-old try to find the bathroom feature on her phone. That's the expertise the room needs more than another deck. When you talk about SoulPaws, lead with one specific thing your friend at the senior center said the first time she opened it.
