Vampire Videos Suck the Life Out of Your Network, Do This Instead:
Let's be real for a second... almost any video posted is better than no video posted. But that said, one thing I'm seeing a fair amount in the community that I believe is a mistake is "Vampire Videos." These are videos that are trying to suck the blood from your network by selling your offer or a phone call right there on the video. I'm all for selling that stuff aggressively, but there is a time and a place. And 9 times out of 10 it's not in your social media video posts. One big issue with talking directly about your offer is that it's not really engaging for your prospect. Sure, you're passionate about your stuff. But they're passionate about THEIR stuff. So talk about their stuff. Second, let's say you do a video about your service... ok fine. But now what? You can't do that every week right? It's going to be repetitive and it will feel like you "have nothing to say." You actually have a lot to say, but you're being far too narrow in the topics you're willing to talk about. Third, videos directly about your offer don't leave much room for comments and discussion below your video. But that's the very best CTA for getting seen on LinkedIn. Finally, if you do have a CTA like "Click to link to schedule a call" you're almost certainly going to get less promotion by the algorithm because you're literally asking people to leave their website. I'm not saying never do this stuff, but keep it to the exception, not the rule. Here's the way to go IMHO: - Talk about stuff your avatar cares about, even if it's only tangential to your stuff - Use a "Comment below" CTA 85% of the time - Have a clear value prop and way to be contacted on your profile so you get referrals and inbound leads. - Post more often - Use the "comment to close" templates in the booking big fish program to build relationships with prospects and turn them into clients In your corner, Jordan

Got it! I think. But those abbreviations - always struggle with them: IMHO, CTA etc…
Are You Sick Of Being In Chronic Pain?
#2. Video Structure Hey It's Shalini, Int'l Pain Relief Expert for past 15 years. Today I want to tell you about 4 Key Mistakes people in chronic pain make that keeps them stuck. I know this because 15 years ago I was stuck in chronic pain due to a chronic illness I had (Costochondritis). Nothing I tried to help myself break free from pain worked. It wasn't until I discovered a tool online that I used by myself and healed myself completely that I realized why all my efforts to help myself previously had not worked because I was making these 4 mistakes 1. Only addressing the physical pain. But chronic pain is a multilayered problem. What affects you physically, also impacts you mentally, emotionally, spiritually. You are mind, body, spirit. So you need to address all those mental, emotional, spiritual pain layers too, to experience lasting relief. 2. Continuing to do the same treatments (medications, physiotherapy, ultrasound therapy, hot packs, cold packs etc.) even though I was not seeing any lasting improvements. But if something is not working, you need to try something different! 3. Thinking that the root cause of my chronic pain was a physical incident. I had thought that the cause of my pain was overdone gym exercises. But the truth is that to uncover the root cause of chronic pai, you have to go beyond the physical layers. Yoruhave to dive deeper to the emotional, mental, spiritual pain and heal those layers so you achieve significant relief. 4. Thinking that I had tried "everything"! Since nothing worked, I was going to be stuck with the pain for good. Truth is that there are so many alternative approaches out there . I was totally unaware. As I became aware and open to trying something different, even though it looked strange and weird, I healed my pain for good. Are you making these mistakes too? Let me know in the comments below. Do you need help in healing your chronic pain? Send me an email [email protected]

Very interesting topic. I wonder if tinnitus can be handled too with some of your methods. My wife suffers from that.
My LinkedIn Videos Case Study
My fellow Goofballs, I made an in-depth case study of how I used Video on LinkedIn to get clients. You can see exactly what I did, with screenshots of some of my posts, some of the inbound messages I received, and the companies and roles of the people watching my videos. Please check this out as I think it can help you see how powerful this strategy can be for your business. Check it out here. In your corner, Jordan

Yes, very helpfull. I’ll try to post a video I made this fall. This time without the beginner mistakes (I just uploaded the link from YouTube) and didn’t commented as you advised, so of cause only two of my friends responded😅 I only need to make some hashtags now. Is it #anythingrelevant..?
