It was 2014. I lived and traveled across the USA in a minivan that I dubbed my Mobile Domicile. As I approached my 60th birthday, I had an urge to share what I had learned in life. I decided to write a book about what I knew and what I had learned. I figured if I wrote 500 words a day for 30 days, that would add up to 15,000 words which could make a decent sized book. That is exactly what I did. Everyday I sat down in wrote 500 words. Some days it was journaling, other days it was an incident from my life and on a rare occasion I merely reacted what I heard in my environment. That was the easy part. I wrote everything by hand in a composition notebook. A friend of mine helped me type it into a Google document. Another friend of mine, a professional content writer, took my random writings and organized it in a cohesive flowing sequence. I hired someone on Fiverr to format it into a Kindle manuscript. I have a weird sense of humor and a way with words, and that resulted in the title of my book Life: It's A Trip I hired someone else on Fiverr to use a photograph that I had taken to design the cover image. That's how I published my first book on Kindle. It is available on Amazon PS: Writing and Publishing a book is a piece of cake. Selling it to make money, that's a whole new ball game If you want to learn to do it right from the beginning, I recommend that you look into the KDP Publishing Community on Skool. It's free to join right now, but come September 1st it won't be. so hop on over there enjoying while you still can for free. You're welcome!
