Agreeing and Disagreeing is what "they" want. What's the other option?
Agreeing creates an "Echo Chamber" where there is little discussion for greater understanding of the other person. Disagreeing creates division. "They" are those who want to manipulate. "Divide and Conquer" is a tactic that has been and is today used to manipulate. (Think of a child asking Mommy for something, getting a "no" and then asking Daddy and getting a "yes":)). Our leaders often do this, instead of inspiring us. How about "seeking to understand". If I am "adamant" (not Adam Ant) about a position on a. topic and don't ask questions of someone on the other side of the story, or perhaps on the same side, I don't learn anything about the topic or the other person. So, could it be a better plan to stop agreeing and disagreeing, and start being curious/exploring the other person (get a stronger relationship) and improve my understanding of a topic by seeking out others on both sides who have points of view. What do you think could come from us NOT taking a stance (initially at least) and just seeking to understand?

From a sales perspective - Always acknowledge and follow up with a question to find more information. That way you can point the question back at the other person rather than being drawn in to an opinion.
What's the point of memorization in school?
Why are my children still being taught to memorize poems? What are the advantages of doing this? Are those advatages enough to outweight time spent on: Self-awareness Personal Growth Discussing what a value really is and how to grow a specific value? Critical thinking? We don't have to Agree or Disagree, just bring up thoughts. Your thoughts please......

In my opinion there should be more value in financial education, and actually learning HOW to think.
Mother's Day flew by.
I hope everyone had a lovely day. We had waffles and icecream and blueberries, strawberries, chocolate sauce and cream spray on top....twice. Very nice celebration. What was best for you?

It’s not Mother’s Day in the UK, however we used it as an excuse to go out for a meal 🔥
Parenting Community Successes
Thanks @Paul Sirvinskas for letting me know that the new DISCOVERY rankings are helping with our key words. So, from our community we have three communities that have popped up in the top 10. Congrats to: @Tim Tindle and his group Parenting Support Skool @Andrew Nelson and this community Parenting and Teaching children and @Rozalind Murray with her community Parenting through the storm. Who else has risen to the top of the rankings for one of their communty's key words? @Chris Suckling ? @Tina Saxena ? @Jon Cooke ? @Steven Bornstein @Paul Sirvinskas @Audrius Stankus @Renee Jeffery ?????

OK. due to unpopular demand. Dad joke two (no more today, I promise)
A guy goes to the navy recruiting office to sign up. The recruiting officer asks, "can you swim"? The recruit says, "why, have you run out of boats"? Apologizing in advance.
