Tomato question
Hi everyone I have a question that isn’t directly related to carnivore but because my daughter ask me a question that I know the answer to and she is not keto I am treading carefully so as not scare her off. Her question is because she all of a sudden has pain in her hands and her skin has broken out could it be that she has always bought baby tomatoes and recently she bought the big tomatoes she ask if I knew if it could be caused by the tomatoes. Now i would say yes straight out but am being cautious I did say it could be the lectins in them. I told her I would ask coach Stephen which she agreed too but am just putting it out there so I can say this is information I have got back. Thanks again.

I will qualify by saying that I dont eat ANY fruit at all, but Tomato is part of the “Nightshade” family of plants……one of the family is called “Deadly Nightshade”.
New US Guidelines, Liz's take
Liz from Carnivore Science Channel just posted a good video on the US guidelines: https://youtu.be/6uuKGYmT7RQ?si=LwD90wQJqA4UqBzL

@Anna R I think the new guidelines are a HUGE turnaround and a massive (first) step in the right direction.. Yes, many would argue it has not gone far enough…but it has to be baby-steps from half a century of indoctrination in the other direction. I see it as a good opportunity to point at it…when engaging with friends/family who are STILL blinded the low fat/whole grain/ no meat band wagon. Carnivores must view these changes as a positive shift ( but I dont think the video is any more than an attempt to get content and clicks TBH)

@Michal Truszkowski It is a start, and will affect oublic organisations that have to comply. (Edit)…Also it specifically says that “Low Carb” may help some conditions….which means that Doctors will no longer be “stepping out of line” by recommending low carb
Personal curiosity
Just wondering is anyone else on carnivore wearing a GCM is experiencing a profile like this. I'm not at all worried about the values, I profiled it with finger pricks, it's somewhere between 0.5-0.8 above the value on the Mojo. What I fail to understand is the peak around 8-9 AM. Just to add context, I followed my usual program that day, wake up 5:30, do like 30 minutes workout, eat around 6AM. Breakfast - 6 eggs with ghee and cottage cheese, lunch around 1PM, 600g picanha. Sauna around 11:00 AM. But none of these activities, be that eating or exercise don't reflect in the glycemic profile. Again, not worried, I feel perfect, energy is constant, mind is as clear as it could be. Just curious :)

Kidney stones
Can someone point me towards information to reassure me that this way of eating isn't causing my stones? It's been since October (3 months in) and showing no signs of stopping. Whenever I look into it, ketosis/meat is blamed. Thank you! I pee SO MUCH, and the blood in my urine (not much, but there) upsets me.

200 days
Today marks day 200 on carnivore for me. Far surpassing my previous record of 33 days a couple of years ago. It has been difficult, many health problems popping up during this time. Hoping they clear up eventually? Where is everyone else at?
