First Manuscript
If this was your first author rodeo and the first draft ending is at least on the horizon, what do you see as crucial to know for the next and coming phases? Keep in mind a paid coach and editor is not on the table hence the street sign “will thank for sound advice.”

I’m curious if you don't mind sharing what the price point was?
What workshops would YOU like to see?
Hello Nonfiction Author Lab! One of the best part of being Head of Partnerships here at Book Launchers means I get to meet some really cool people and companies. Ones that are doing amazing things in publishing and helping indie authors get their books out into the world. I want to share those cool people with you, our awesome community. If we were to offer monthly workshops and trainings with guest speakers that are FREE and open to all, what would you most like to see? What would help you with the challenges on your author journey? What areas do you have the most questions? I'm including a poll below and would love your feedback in the comments. We may not start right away but summer is approaching and we're plotting out more ways to help you get your book out there, impacting others!

I agree with Bruce I’d likely pick all or close to it but there’s definitely a pecking order. AI tools would be next. I’m at least where I think I see the end in sight of my first, first manuscript. Can't afford an editor at this point of my writing career so my option is choosing the right tools and learning to use them which isn't my strong suit.
Working with a Small Budget. Best Tips & Tools to Use?
Hey everyone. I've been lurking for a few months. I watched most everything I have access to and am looking for any advice or recommendations on formatting my book. I am using Reedsy, and I see limitations with it. Just realized I will need more than it can offer. I am self-publishing on a small budget. What are your recommendations?

WD: What part of writing your book has surprised you the most so far?
Open ended question this week. Figured this might drum up some new ideas on ways we can help this community out. :)
